In order for our servers to function smoothly all of our servers follow all of these rules(along with a few of separate rules to make the gameplay function easily) defined within this sub-topic. There are many factors that come into play when running a server; while some may be secret, most, we feel, should be easily available to our users. Our servers must have all of the following:
- Friendliness
- Communication
- From User to User
- From Users to Admins
- From Admins to Admins
- Respect
- Trust
- Design Functionality
Friendliness has always been the key to our community. Being friendly can lead to many other factors that our server’s functionality relies on. Being friendly while communicating allows for every user to discuss on equal “playing-fields†when issues arise within the server. Being friendly earns you trust and respect as well as the ability to start respecting others as well.
It is important to note that most of our servers take a chain-of-command type of ranking. All of our server’s chain-of-command lead to the Minecraft manager. Although we stress that all of our users are equal, higher ranks are ranked because of their past; you should never feel ashamed or scared to ask any higher rank for advice or help. If you ever have a problem with an admin, express it! We urge you to talk to anyone above that users rank about it to see how the problem can be resolved.
Importantly, if you see any problem with our servers, whether it be a faulty plugin, broken code, lag or any bugs, please inform us! We also would like to hear any ideas you have that could improve the server, whether that be in the form of a plugin, redesign of a building, or flat out starting over: we want to hear it!
