You can always see who's available as a free agent. The QB position is pretty deep, especially in our relatively small league. Alex Smith or Jay Cutler would be pretty decent pick-ups as your QB2.

Bitch? That'd be me!
I'm Always Runny in Philadelphia and now really happy with my relatively early QB pick.

Right now though, I'm super satisfied that Boldin finally got his groove back so I've got a wide receiver that can net me more than 10 points a game. Here's hoping he'll make more TDs like this!

I think the 49ers number 1 receiver (Micheal Crabtree) will be coming back soon so i think Boldin may get less touches. Not sure when he will come back though.

Yeah, but that'll be in December earliest! During that time Boldin will have a chance to become a set piece in the team. And even when Crabtree gets back, he'll be out of practice and still weary from a six month recovery. So my guy will still see plenty of action.

(at least that's what I'm hoping will happen :p)

Remember to swap out your TE*, put someone in your Def slot and bench SJax cos he's injured (possibly Andre Johnson too but at least he'll actually be playing). If I'm going to beat you this week at least make it challenging :ugly:

*(hint: trade me Trent for Gonzalez )

I'm gonna make this explicit. Arbogeddon and Tscuzimbrown, you have at least one of these issues on your active roster: players inactive due to injury (marked with an 'O' beneath their name), players inactive due to a bye week (their team isn't playing this week) or an active position slot that doesn't have anything in it (remember to check your Defence and Kickers). Please correct these issues by substituting in players from your bench (go to your team's home screen, drag and drop your players around using their individual 'move' icons).

Ultimately this is a league that you don't have to be particularly active in, but if you don't at least do this bare minimum team maintenance - honestly, it takes like 10 seconds out of your week - then our games won't even be close to competitive meaning it's not very fun for the rest of us. Thanks!

You can't change you lineups whilst the games are actually being played, so chances are you weren't able to do much. Just check back on it after Monday night (or before Monday if you've got any guys in the Saints/Dolphins game) :5:

*reminder that most of you have injuries, bye week players or just plain empty slots on your team*

I don't want to have to remind you all every week so this'll be the last time I mention it for a while :18

lol i didn't notice... i hate that you have to wait like 3 days to actually trade the players... i don't understand why we can't just trade the players right then and there. oh well

It's to prevent unfair trades. Basically, the rest of the league has to get a chance to vote against the trade if they feel some shenanigans are going on, or if one player is getting duped.

Just another reason to take like 5 minutes out of your day to check if there's any trades pending. Be they for you or for anyone else.

I can't believe i've won my game without three of my starters not playing
Good thing i had Jason Witten on my team, he had a monster game against Denver.
Texans need to bench Schuab! :(

And then all of your cowboys are playing the redskins next week... on the same week you play me... yay :-14

(Can't complain too much tbh, I've got guys going to Oakland, St Louis and Jacksonville :ugly:)

I still think your OC has to take a large part of the blame - if you're not going to let your QB call audibles then at least give him an alternative playcall he's allowed to make should the first one obviously be a terrible idea. Sucks though, I really like the Texans.

P.S, sent you another trade :5: I've cancelled it - it involved Roddy White and it looks like Julio Jones could be out for the year with another injury, if he is that's going to have a huge impact on White's value. I'll see how it goes and I'll think about what's best to do.

Post subject:  Re: NFL fantasy league!

Just a heads up - there have been an insane amount of injuries throughout the league this week, many of them season ending, so check that your guys are still fit to play.

Also, half of you STILL have empty slots/bye weeks/injured players on your team. And have great guys sitting on your bench who can play. You all realise that if a player is on your bench the points they score don't actually mean anything? :ugly:

Post subject:  Re: NFL fantasy league!

Also: SIX teams on bye this week. So there's a very good chance a few of your guys won't be playing. (Six of mine are on bye, leaving me with one active WR :s)

Well - seems that half of you have gone inactive. But in case anyone still cares, the trade deadline is in 10 days. No more trades allowed after the 22nd.

Congrats to Orange for winning the SpecialAttack championship! :4

Thanks for signing up everyone - it was a new and really interesting thing for me so it's really appreciated even if you weren't able to participate for the whole length of time. :5:
