| Post subject: | DDOS Attacks Affect Steam and Origin Services |
I don't know if anyone noticed this here, but over the past few days some of the steam and origin servers have been down. I've seen people talk about it affecting some TF2 servers, so I thought someone here would have heard about THIS. Two different groups are laying some claim to attacks on steam and origin as well as other places like the LoL community. Have any of you experienced this or heard about it? What do you guys think about this?

Heard about few servers going down, didn't know it was all linked. There's not much to think of it really because there's nothing special about DDoSing, you just need a load of people/machines and you can bring servers down. Like they said, all they were using were ping tests in command prompt. |
