Played a few rounds on the server, and I must say it's pretty fun. It'd be more fun with other people and communication in mumble of course. I wasn't even at the bottom of the leaderboard :wink:

I think I can see myself playing this quite a bit, looks like a lot of fun when you've got the hang of everything because it doesn't play like your typical fps.

I'm gonna be interested to see if they bring over the other modes from the previous version, as well as new modes...and maps..because fuck the boat map.

So yeah, pass the whiskey.

Also I'd like to use my hatchet to scalp people, jus' saying...

Yeah I'm deffinetly sold on this game. The gunplay is very nice and goes well with being able to kick/brawl and throw things, so it's not just a who can reload first fight.

They're deffinetly working on bringing stuff from the mod into the standalone, though I fear they'll work slow being a small team doing it for free. Looks interesting though, especially modes where you have to escort money couriers or use notoriety to buy weapons.

So, should we "officially" adopt this game to our community? (In that case we'll add an extra server, add info pages for it on the website, add sourcemod for admin & res slots etc)

Maybe give it some time first, make sure we have the players here actually playing on it. It's looks promising because it strikes me as the sort of games that collects regulars over time, just depends how popular it becomes.

Been talking with CoD about looking at sourcemod plugins for reserved slots and teams, so we could do with a private test server. Might need you to look at moving sourcemod over itself with relevant admin stuff though. After that we should see where the games goes, start adding stuff like mapvoting if it looks like a good game to continue hosting.

Judging by this graph, I think now would be a good time to adopt it (the earlier the better, if it turns out it fails anyway, we can always remove it, rather than being "too late")

I've added an extra server as test server, it's play ready so I'd like to ask you to test it for stability.

It has sourcemod enabled, admin is functioning properly (if you have signed up for TF2 admin rights, they should work in FoF as well).

There are no reserved slots yet as I first want to know if this runs properly stable.

Played a game on it, and everything went very smoothly. It seems to be running, from a player's perspective, just as well as the vanilla server. Chatted with a couple people who had been playing a while, and they said that it ran very well during their time on it. Of course there are going to be hiccups now and again, but that happens with any server. :4

Yeah I had a chance to play the other day: just plain vanilla. It was a lot of fun, and I'm excited to see the changes. Is anyone up for a game Sunday? I know Sunday is for TF2, but hey it's fun to mix it up.
