I had the honor of being part of the first batch of Beta testers for the Xbox 360 version of World of Tanks. I have to say, I hate the large updates but love the gameplay.

This topic addresses the existence of World of Tanks and the amazing it is. I've recently (over the past 1 month) started playing World of Tanks, it being hard attracted me like ropes attract a masochist. I've became decent at the game, only just though and I believe it's a lot of fun after you play it a while. So you guys might want to try it around and we might play some fun Team Battles or Platoons together. :3 |

It's a fun little game, it's a tad hard in all honesty. That's probably why I like it. You don't immediately own everybody after you unlock your weapon upgrades -like in bf- and even the worst player can impose a big problem, though you can outplay them. There's a saying in WOT, never underestimate the sheer capabilities of 14 or 29 morons together. Though on the pc version in all honesty you do feel at times like you're playing against 29 players.

Wow, I ventured on to the forums today after a long period of vegetation to discuss this topic exactly! We should get a SpA clan started so we can begin with clan wars and strongholds, etc. EDIT:btw, my ign is Vadesh |

Sure, why not. Played a bit of Warthunder planes and tanks, but the combined forces battles just killed the game for me. Lets see how this compares to it. Edit: The german tanks are mine! |

Looks pretty P2W.  Buy some chocolate to improve all your crew ability for one battle with real money! Buy better ammo with more damage and better penetration with real money! Buy permanent upgrades for your vehicle with real money! |

That's why I haven't touched it for years even though a multiplayer tank game would usually interest me. Still though gameplay seemed decent, or at least will be once you get out of those god awful pre ww2 tanks. |

Great game, got my first tier ten about a month ago. Fare warning lower tier battles will suck and normally draw people away from the game. (Tiers 1-4) Hope to see you guys on!

Just gonna clear up a couple of things in this thread: -EU and NA servers are separate, you have to create an account on each to play and there is no server roaming. If you want to play on EU from NA your ping is going to be 200-300 depending on where you live and ping is somewhat important. -The game is about as far away from P2W as you can get, there is "Pay2Gofaster", you can pay real money to get xp from other tanks and put it on one tank. Everything that you can buy for gold you can buy for credits (except a premium account and decals on tanks). So premium ammo (with higher penetration) is for credits, so is chocolate. |

I know the NA and EU servers are different, but can we have a clan that covers both, or are they region restricted too? |

You can have a clan on each of the servers who are connected just by the fact that they are SpA, but other than that they are not connected. Starting a clan in WoT is also a difficult and time consuming process so I would suggest joining another clan as a group on each server (I'm already in a clan on EU though) |

I felt it important to note, something annoying about the Xbox 360 version. I may have already made a comment about it but I'm sitting here now with better internet than before waiting on yet another update to the game. This game updates more often than League of Legends, and takes hours to do so. I'm hoping to get into the PC version so I want to know if this problem is there too.
