This is an earlier image of my setup, still not a build I want but this works for most games I play with SpA.

Would reccomend a full sized wired mouse. I used a small mouse when I first got a laptop and didn't realise how much more comfortable and usable a regular sized one was until I upgraded. Wired because there can be a little bit of input lag with wireless, depending on quality.

I haven't had too much trouble with the input lag yet, have noticed it a slight bit though. The smaller mouse has actually been comfortable to me, I guess it just depends on the shape.

Post subject:  Re: My build

So uuuuhm, where to start.....

So, for my PC:
- Fractal design R4 case
- Some Gigabyte mobo
- Intel Core i7 3770
- 16GB memory
- 256GB SSD
- asus xonar phoebus soundcard
- extra intel NIC (for Cisco Sourcefire Intrusion prevention system)
- AMD R9 290 videocard
- Logitech G9 mouse
- Logitech G19 keyboard
- 2x 24" IIyama monitors

Then left and right from my monitors you find 2 KRK speakers.

At the right side of my desk there are:
- Cable modem
- Cisco ASA hardware firewall (VPN services)
- Mikrotik routerboard (1Gbit LAN switch/router)
- Cisco 1Gbit 8 interface switch (for port-mirroring to feed my network data for traffic inspection to Sourcefire)
- Asus RT-AC68U WLAN bridge (is a switch/router, but I just use it as WLAN bridge)
- Pineapple WIFI (for wlan 'hacking')

I think that's about it..... accept for my 2 laptops, but they don't reside on my desk....

And here's a very crappy picture of it all...

No photos as of yet, but currently have as follows:

Intel Core i5 3570K 3.2Ghz clocked @ 4.2Ghz
8GB DDR3 RAM (Kingston, but forgot and specifics. Will be 16GB soon)
1TB HDD (Upgrading to SSD for OS soon and using current HDD for games, then getting SSD for games)
ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard
Cooler Master 430 Lite case (Another upgrade to a rather cool case soon)
Inno3D GeForce GTX 980 iChill Herculez X4 Air Boss Ultra

A few parts to be upgraded as mentioned. Going for a second GPU this year hopefully.

EDIT: My keyboard is a standard pile of crap, but for my mouse I am using a Corsair M65. My monitor is a BenQ XL2411T 144Hz.

Asking the important questions here. Couldn't imagine what more than two monitors would be good for other than simulators and FPS games.

I would definitely have a good use for it running Reason (DAW). Reason has 3 main screens consisting of a mixer, rack and sequencer. I currently have the mixer and the rack screen on one monitor and the sequencer on the other. Would be very nice to have all 3 on 3 seperate screens.

I have a couple of old CRT screens sitting around in the barn behind my house, both are VGA though so you'll have have no problem using them to stick notes onto. One was manufactured in '95 and the other in 2001 I believe.

All jokes aside, does anyone know of a good use for old screens like that? Other than garbage I mean.

Bitch, please.
Some people use wardrobes for their clothes. Others use chairs. I'm different.
