As the title states there has been an exploit found that allows players and servers to send files to your computer via sprays and other files found on the servers, allowing them to take any information from your computer including but not limited to your Steam Account information. It is strongly recommended you don't play ANY of the community made mods for the source engine as well as straying away from using community servers until further notice. Your account may be hijacked and these hackers are known to steal inventory items and in some cases delete them. Valve is currently working on a fix for this problem, and games like TF2, Dota 2, and CS:GO are already "fixed". Keep in mind, this has only been reported from community server activity, and official Valve servers are not affected as far as I know.
It is recommended that you use the following console commands to ensure your safety while playing online for now:
cl_allowdownload 0
cl_allowupload 0
cl_customsounds 0
cl_downloadfilter none
I will attempt to update this topic as new information surfaces.

As of today, the exploit mentioned above is fixed. Feel free to play around on Counter-Strike and other multiplayer Source games all you want. Just don't get scammed.
