For Elite Dangerous:
Basically, the training is an actual training.
On the left, you have your trainings that'll be ingame trainings. On the right, there's the objective and in blue, links to the youtube vids that'll explain what skills you need to fulfill the training.
What I advise:
Watch:

and

Do Target practice, basic combat, and 5 to ten minutes of skirmish until you get bored (for saint, skip this step!)
Then:

Do launch and docking
Then:

Do the Travel training
Finally, watch:

Then what I did was go to Solo play , go to the bulletin board and pick myself the easiest (lowest Cr.) transport mission. I completed that one.
I didn't have a clue how to interact with my wings, but screw that. I got attacked on the way as well, but I just ignored that and hoped I could dock before they'd kill me. I succeeded in that
After that, I saw that there is also a youtube on wings

I'll go watch that today
One very important thing, if you at a point get fed up in the training with not being able to shoot your enemy dead (starts at the skirmish or the sidewinder face-off) and if you tried for like 5 to 10 minutes, just skip it! You'll learn the skills ingame. That practice is freaking hard. If you follow the steps above, you'll know enough to still keep learning the game interesting and fun.
