http://whenisthenextsteamsale.com/ - starts today, 7pm SpA time. Word is that this year there will be no flash or daily sales. Different games will be featured on different days but games will stay at their lowest price for the whole of the sale. This means that there probably won't be the crazy -75% discounts that we've seen in the past but I'm still hoping for to pick up GTA V and maybe Metal Gear. |

There are 9989 different titles on sale according to the steam store page. I didn't know there were that many even on steam.  Edit: Now over 10,000 titles on sale. |

I think the ONLY game I'm going to buy is an extra copy of Garry's Mod. I might look into Rust or something obscure. Maybe even Don't Starve Together, since it seems popular |

Going to say this here since the sale caused it - Did anyone have the reported issues of the store turning completely Russian for an hour, then account details taking you to other account information other than yours and many other things just before a server shutdown? This happened yesterday (last night for those overseas) and lasted for 5 hours. Apparently from my research on it, what happened was a caching server went haywire causing users to see old pages (static and uneditable) generated for other users. Very weird situation, apparently so weird VALVe shut down the servers to fix it. |

Some valve spokeperson told GameSpot that the issue lasted for an hour and that no unauthorized actions could be taken, only viewing random pages. Also the personal data was censored making it pretty safe. I still pooped my pants when i woke up and read the Reddit shitstorm. |

Democracy 3 is pretty good for under $10. It's basically a Presidential simulator where you make all the policies for your country.
