There's been much talk/interest in hosting a Feed The Beast server for survival Minecraft. Consider this my official request that we host a server. Two suggestions: - All The Mods 3 - Project Ozone 3 FTB servers have plenty of stuff to keep people busy, and often requires teamwork to accomplish certain tasks. This will be a great way to get folks engaged and STAY engaged, especiall since we're having a wave of "old members" coming back. The ball's in your court, Dicktator mbl. |

We've been having some brief discussions this morning about this. I think you're correct in saying there'd be a good handful of us interested in playing on a server. As much as FTB sounds good, I remember it was always a strain on our hardware to try and run that alongside all the other hosting we had due to the resource-hungry mods. After the hardware migration, we don't have the available hardware to host a small SMP server. There actually has been some discussion this morning regarding some kind of reunion special server. I don't think we're in the position to try and make it anything like the big commercial-style server we used to try and have. |
