Effective immediately, all NVIDIA gamers may receive a free copy of PortalTM: First Slice, a special version of the award-winning new game from Valve, by visiting http://www.steamgames.com/nvidia1 and "Taking the Test." Steam will then auto-detect the presence of NVIDIA hardware and make Portal: First Slice available immediately, free of charge. To make it easy for all NVIDIA customers to redeem this offer, a link to the Steam offer will also be included in all NVIDIA drivers.

free games? excuse me, but you're paying for all of em, and I think they're all crap! I payed for em all cuz the orange box was the only thing that was out and I just had to have TF2. All the games aren't crap, but peggle is kind of a freeware game like bubbles, arkanoid, etc. Portal, man , yeah, it's fun to play for 30 mins, but it looks like something a good programmer could make in a day.
HL2, I guess that would be worth it, I tried playing HD graphics HL2, the cinematic mod. I didn't come further then a couple of hours of playing, tried it several times now, but it does have something to it. But you could buy hl2 for 5 bucks i guess :P
But hey, if you like playing lots of games, go ahead, I knew it were gonna be games I would take a look into out of boredom sometime and then never play it again! :D
But to be honnest, I just think it's a money scam.

Imo Portal is a very well put together game. You obiousely haven't played it, or knowing you, not more then the 1st level ;)

I finished it aswell and its easy doable in less then a day.

Portal is a great game but it's to easy, in my opinion they should have tried to do a little campaign or continue the old one.

I Don't really see Portal as a Shooter or something, its like a Sodoku in a game. :D

song, hmmm, can't remember, but it didn't look like such a soffisticated game to be honnest dude.
Some 3D walls , you can shoot your portal onto something and you'll get out if it by jumping through another portal, didn't caught my attention that well that i say i'll play this game for days!
