Hello there all,

Just wanted to post a quick message.

Have been playing TF2 now since the orange box dvd release. Most of the time i play together with ^ Inty, he's my co worker.

Our "^" is no clan tag, it's more a sign to show we work together ingame.

I life in Holland (Rotterdam) and i work in Den Haag. I like the game and especially your servers. I'll be on your servers even more from now on and i hope we can have a nice public time!

Cheers,

FreeStyler_ (Frank)

Hi there,

As Freestyler mentioned I work with him and have been playing since the release of TF2.
We're both co-workers of Merlijntje.

I played with you a bit last saturday when you had your mini lan-party.

Greets,
Inty

ooooooh now that figures! Your Merlijns co-workers! We played with you last weekend on our mini lan :)

For the people left clueless, Merlijn is a good friend of me, Bucky and Pim :)

Yup, that's right :)

We're actually both looking for a new clan to join together.
Is there still room in SPA and is SPA an active TF2 team, clanwars and such?

We're still looking around but you look like a nice bunch of ppl ;)

We're more a community then a clan. We don't do clanwars, allthought we do(well, we're starting at) fun wars (SpA vs community).

On the matter of room, there is alway's room :) Just depends on your activity on the forums/servers/IRC :)

We do have intention of getting a smaller "clan inside the community" that will do wars, officials, practice etc.

Right now, we're building up our members list and seeing who's gonna be the fully available guys for this kinda thing.

A lot of us are ex warring players from 1.6, CZ, MOHAA etc - And there's a lot of us that will be happy to play in official wars when we're ready...

Shouldn't be too much longer ;)

Well, if that is the plan then I (and Freestyler too) would like to apply.

Since this is the "Who are u ?" thread i'll post my game history for those that are bored enough to read it :)

Played Quake2 with my own clan PK for 2 years. Reaching nr.1 position on http://www.clanbase.com for over a year with TDM and CTF. I held the nr.1 position in 1on1 as well for over 8 months.
Played Quake3 more for fun for a while
MoHaa for over a year under different clans (DBD, 1337) holding the nr.1 position for months on clanbase (still got a frapsed movies of most clanbase cups for those that would like a bit of nostalgy)
Counterstrike for over 1.5 years in DBD, B->3 and [1337]
Highest achievement there is getting the 3rd place in the first clanbase counterstrike europa cup (losing to those damn scandinavians ;-))

I currently play TF2, Call of Duty 4 and EVE Online. (And the occasional CS gun mod game)

Tribes #2 - fond fond memories :D
Was a QW (Quake1, net coded up) player myself, hardcore obsessed (would leave my (now x) gf sitting bored for 4/5 hours at a time while I had match after match after match :D *edit* Forgot to say I ran (and coincidentally won) the bt sponsored 1v1 league in early 97 :D
MOHAA clan I was in got to 8th in clanbase, was a lotta fun aswell :)

Nice applications guys :)

Inty, feel free to set it up among our community if you'd like. At this point, it's more that nobody has had the balls and energy to set up serious clan wars.
We have had some clanwar managers, but mostly with CS wc3ft and CS normal. Since we began playing tf2, we haven't had one, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for one.
If you'd like to set up a clanwar section here, I wouldn't mind at all, I'd even love to play a couple of wars again.
Problem is to get it organized, get meetings together, practices, etc.
Let me know if you'd like to go for it or not and if you'd still like to join then!

Bucky,

I would still like to join up with Freestyler.
I can setup a TF2 clanwar team after a few weeks (need to get to know ppl etc. settle in :)) which i would love to do and have done before.

All you need is a server (which you guys have) and teamspeak/ventrilo (don't trust ingame voice comms + if your game crashes you cant use it :))

But for now we would just like to join up if Saint (I assume Saint has the final word over it) approves.

Then after we're settled in, we can start with trainings / fun wars with other clans that are looking for the same thing and then joining a league or whatever to do some real wars. Or setup a league on our own (which is fun to do as well)

Let me know.

Greets,
Inty

Well let's just start practising ASAP, that shouldn't be hard at all, if just people say when they can and when they can't. I'll post my list of appointments for the next year below.

Regular lectures (don't have to go to any of them though)
....

so everyone try to find a day and time in the week that fits well with my schedule, K?

Or just lurk on IRC and whenever I say something (which means I'm online), shout "HEY LETS PLAY SOME TF2" and I'm in instantly.

But Inty can do the chat for me, we're almost 1 ;-)

...kinky ;)

Tribes 2 ftw though... The teamplay was much more important - It's the prototype for BF2 (the whole series), Quake Wars etc...

Yeah, #1 was fun aswell though :D

Quake 1 ? It's still the single most pure deathmatch experience on the planet.

DM2 + DM4 for the ULTRA win. Goddam, I may go play some right now actually :D

Tribes3: Vengeance was actually much better than first impressions give... Go back to it, play through the singleplayer, start to finish and then get another 15 mates to join you (lmao) in a multiplayer game - It's actually pretty sweet... The developers were huge fans of Tribes1...

yeah quake has been the best time of my life. nothing beats the rush it gives. nothing comes even remotely close to the speed of quake1.
