I've got a problem...that problems name is Mirc. Well the program is going wild like whore on my pc and its messing up everything x.x''... 1. problem: I always get a virus message of my antivir program(G data 2008-its like a fort...nothing can get in...and nothing can get out -.-) 2. after I started it my task bar ain't working, anymore... 3. my pc is freezes :S and is working pretty slow...(my cpu is working fine and it has low %) I could deinstall it and never use it again, but that can't be the solution :S!!I want to use it...so why can't I ffs?! Can anyone help me out plz? I'd rly appreciate that. thx |

You need to configure mIRC through your AV .. because technically is a virus but not harmful.. I suggest AVG Free antivirus .. its set up for the like.. and its probably one of the best AV's around , and its free ... |

mIRC is the only one i know of thats any good , its a base so everything goes onto it.. you could try trillian , its msn irc and icq rolled into one maybe that would work , you sure its your AV? |

or you can try pidgin, miranda (universal clients) or maybe UPP (something like extension for mIRC, this might work without problems) |

Extending mIRC wont help , you need to sort the base client before working up on it... |

True, I've used Trillian for years. Though I never log on anylonger, since my age-old cracked version with lots of plugins take several minutes to load, and slows down the comp very noticably...Trillian has made me much less social
