Post subject:  The upcoming [Spa] Vs Community game...
ELLLLOOOOOOO, it's me



errrr, a few minor questions... we haven't set a date yet have we? or have we? bah i dunno... :oops:

more importantly, for us community players, shall we play together a few times, so we have the best people playing their best class, or something? :?:

when we start we have a little organisation so we're not all medics (yea right) for example :wink:


I know! everyone say which class they suit best or even suggest another player who they KNOW is really good at something... for example, i know Magisk, on the [Spa] team is a good medic, reliable and wont ignore you when you're balls are slowly burning and an engineer is shooting at you from seven miles away. But thats their team... what about us?

Is this a good idea or really shit.... ? stop me if im being Jay the Gay :18

for the tactics thing I would suggest that we make a date and then we meet all in gtatix(you can make ur own channel and invite ppl to it) and then we can "talk" about it :), without spas listening ;)

in the last game, the community members just gathered on the server 5 minutes before the game started.
we talked about how many of which class we'd need and everybody just switched to whatever class he thought he could be the most helpful.
when the situation required it, anybody could change class. we also didn't have any advanced tactics (it was dustbowl and gravelpit - what tactics would you need that couldn't be explained in the voicechat in 2 minutes)

in the end, it worked out pretty well and we pwned SpA in every round. :D

teddy, i know you wanna try gtatix, but i guess you won't need it

What should should do is make one of the community people in the server your "leader" so he/she can organize the people. This should be someone with voice chat and someone high ranked / who knows how to play.
That way you will be organized during the match and have class balance.

I don't care actually much about the tactics, since we will win, anyways ;). we have the better players(needless, nox and ME :O) *cough* :>...
as long as the spas don't have any advantage in organsiation it's all fine :o

We don't need any tactics before the match. Spa don't practice together so there is no problem :lol:
If we have a good class balance when the game starts, then everything will go as normal :mrgreen:
The only thing we can plan before the match is what class everyone will play.

As for the players Jay mentioned I will talk to them if I see them.

28th huh? PHEW.... it's my gf's birthday on the 29th, i guess i'll organise something on the 27th :wink:

is there a 'cook' class... i could stay in spawn with a BBQ, hook you all up some burgers in the set-up time

I can play as anything. Dunno what I'm best with, since I don't play what I'm best at I play what I like most. And at the moment thats scout/pyro/spy

I've played a couple of minutes with soldier when it was randomly chosen in melee sudden death...

And I played scout a couple of hours shortly after the game was released...

So I probably won't be playing either of those :lol:

I think I can play most of the classes good, but I prefer medic, demoman and soldier.
