My current Logitech G7 is turning against me (left-click isn't working well)

Seems that buttons are the weak spot of Logitech's mice, because this was my second Logitech with the same problem.
I'll need to buy new one soon, so any suggestions would be appreciated. I'll have been looking at Logitech's G5/G9 or some Razer's mouse.

I never had button problems with my Logitech mouses, only after a silly long period of time, but by then nothin from the whole pc was working anymore how it suppose to :P

I had a Logitech MX510 which was still working fine, but i just wanted a new mouse :P So i bought the G5, and i love it!

In my opinion, the G5 is by far the best gaming mouse out there. Get that and a steelpad, and you can be as good as I in TF2

I´ve had this mouse http://www.a4tech.com/en/product2.asp?C ... MNO=X-750F for a long time already and I am completely satisfied with it... The triple fire button is fun for e.g. scout pistol in TF2 - fires quicker than machine gun

I've tried just about everything on the market, and I gotta say that right now, the best I've used is the

Microsoft Sidewinder :
Tech Page - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gamin ... px?pid=100
Review - http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1 ... 281,00.asp

If you don't have lady-hands or baby-hands, go for the Sidewinder...

I've been through almost all the Logitech mice, and for FPS this just feels better for me.

Took maybe an hour to get used to a slightly different slide sensation and a firmer response.
Other than that, it's just excellent.

The two thumb buttons are far superior to any other brand/mouse I've tried. Easily reachable and
never pressed by accident.

I've bought a new mouse recently.
Razors are good for gaming but I don't like lights and these staff on my desk.
G9 was the best I saw but i think the prise is too much.
G5 is good too, though I don't like it's design and it's a bit old model.
Finally I bought this one with 45€.

I saw the sidewinder th3-mute suggested, but it was too "fake". Very big and "fat" with annoying click sound. You can't believe this mouse costs 60+€...

So it's up to you do and your taste to decide. If you can give 80€ for a mouse go for G9

This Logitech G7 is wireless... Shame that they don't manufacture it anymore. Wireless mice for gaming use are so rare, because reaction time is a bit longer than a wired mice. So they say, but i have never noticed it with this G7.

Thanks to all for these suggestions :)

Think that i'll have to go to test some of these mice G5,G9 and SideWinder. That G5 looks like a straight copy of G7, but with wire. Price isn't a problem, because i have used to spend enough for a good mice and never regret it.

I guess that my left-mouse button won't last long, cause i just seems to play alot

More like a basketball player... Sometimes that G7 feels too small

2 years, but i think that is not covering this kind of issue, cause the button works, but it's just not working properly :(

I have G5 and Steelpad S&S too :D

I'm surprised you bought the S&S though. It was custom made for a danish CS clan like 4 years ago, but several other better pads have entered the market since. The S&S is still awesome though, so I am not planning to upgrade anytime soon :P

The Necromancer (4970)
I have an IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0, of course (the re-release). The best gaming mouse in history back from the days when "gaming mice" weren't such a big hyped-up fad with optional weights, gazillion of DPIs sensors that didn't do shit etc... :-P

I owned a Razer Diamondback once and I have to say that it made want to NEVER ever buy another product from this shitty company.

Mouse pad: Icemat 2nd ed.

razer is the best in my oppinion, I never enjoyed this large heavy mouses since they just feel like a bad go at trying to form horsedung into a respectable fridge.... which someone on the road there got out as a mouse

my love is currently for Razer which I've found to have just the right kind "weight and precision" to it

anyway, here's my mouse http://www.razerzone.com/p-69-razer-dea ... mouse.aspx

G5 is by far the best mouse I've had.

That with a steelpad, and you got the best combination available
