I don't know, you aren't invulnerable so you can still get blown up.. But seriously I'd uber demomans, pyro, soldier or heavy with that... demo and soldier are going to be sick, since their crits instagib everyone in a radius. (sticky bombs anyhow). And just imagine 2 medics, 1 ubering someone and twisting the uber between the other medic and the person getting uber, the other using the other crit uber on the person getting uber.... omg! ![]() |

haven't thought about that...but that would be rly sick xD...I'm cuious what the other weapons can do... For example: spy...what can you change?nothing imo... I'm sure that the soldier will get rockets, which are faster, but do less dmg. |

A knife that can frontstab. That way they won't have to fix the bug after so many patches!

I guess critical knife hit would cause just double damage... If it was not a backstab, of course... And I wonder if you will choose your unlocked weapons before you get in the game or when respawning |

we were all expecting it a long time ago when it was announced.. BUT valve has never ever ever at all at any time kept their promises regarding releases.. I think it's called Valve Time and it has it's own wiki page ;p but when they say April.. they probably mean May.. and I hope they will make the weapons right.. 10 seconds full of crits together with an uber.. that would be destructive.. |

Well is FAR worse than Hydro. So is 2Forts. Hydro's one of the best imo. |

I actually thought goldrush would be in the patch together with badlands, so I was pretty disappointed when all the patch had was another 5 cp map, which Valve suck at making. I'm not really concerned about how unbalanced the new weapons will be. Valve is probably one of the better game devs I know so I'm fairly sure they won't allow uber to stack with the crit buff. But I still dislike the whole idea of the crit buff, since crits have no place in shooters. They make things far too random in a game type which should be almost entirely skill based. They're fun when you dish them out but not when someone gets a last second crit and 1 shots you. I do wonder where Valve's priorities are. They seem to be developing all this stuff but still haven't fixed game breaking issues that have been in the game since release. |

Am I the only one who loves Badlands ?In my top3 over standard maps for TF2, there is 2 5cp maps..... The maps in the order I like them (first, is the best, last is the worst): Dustbowl Granary Badlands 2fort Hydro Well Gravelpit |

futari wrote: I love all the standard maps, except 2fort I don't get the 2fort hate.I love 2fort.... It's one of the few maps that requires a great deal of teamwork by the whole team. Also the map has a nice mix of wide open areas, multiple access points and chokepoints. You always know WHERE the SG's are, but it's almost impossible to take them out yourself. Each and every class can really shine through on 2fort, something unseen on the other maps Most people hate 2fort, because of the chokepoints with SG's. It's faster to build and upgrade an SG than it is to run through the base, which means that you will have to destroy all SG's in every attempt you make on taking the intel. However, there are several combo's that can ensure a quick takedown of the SG's: 2 Soldiers: Rocketjump to the roof, Shoot one rocket on the SG that is outside the enemy spawn. Quickly hide again behind the corner, then go out and take another shot. Since you are attacking from behind the sentry gun, it will take nearly a second for it to turn around, and another half a second for it to start shooting. This CAN be done with one soldier, but you have to be lucky with crits. 1 Demoman, 1 Medic: Self-explaining. Übercharge, throw 3 stickies on each sentry, blow them up. Demoman can in many cases also sticky up the SG from a blind angle, meaning the SG can't return fire. 1 Spy, 1 Pyro: Pyro gets in as close to the SG, he can get, and as soon as the spy saps the SG, the pyro runs out, and burn both the Engi and the SG. Spy just keep sapping the SG. SG should die in a matter of seconds. Almost all attempts on taking on SG's (except a demo shooting from a blind angle), requires at least two people, and good coordination over voicechat. |

nah, the map is ok.. but I dislike that I either play extremely terrible.. or insanely well.. x[ This used to be my favorite map (together with dustbowl) in Team Fortress Classic so yeah.. |

gotta agree with spike. 2fort is one of the few maps, where you can play as any class and be still useful, as long as you play good. badlands is similar and since it is so big, you have pool of tactical movements. The once that don't like 2fort and badlands, are ppl that just want to make frags. >:/ ... Gravel Pit + Dustbowl + 2Fort Badlands Well Granary Hydro |

2fort is far too easy to defend when you don't have teamwork (which is always on this map), which means it's always a stalemate. That together with terrible replay value turns the map into a game of ''who can score the most points''. But it's just a matter of opinion really. Some people hate hydro while others love it. I personally think the map just has a terrible design. |

And it is hardly ever stalemate. In fact, Magisk and I have achieved to win one in around 2 minutes (Both of us were scouts, we ran to the intel room. I covered him, and knocked down a few sentry guns and engies, before the SG's got upgraded. He ran with the first Intel, while I hid in the intel room, and ganked two more engies, who were comming in to set up in the intel room. Magisk capped, I quickly took the next intel and ran, and when I capped, Magisk was already back in their intel room for the final run). But it's just a matter of opinion really. My point was that it doesn't HAVE to end in stalemate. 2 Soldiers/1Demo, 1 Medic/1 Spy, 1 Pyro can quickly tear through all SG's in the defending base. All you need is coordination.
sure but my point was that you can hardly win against skilled enemies, with 2 scouts, within 2 minutes.coordination on SPA servers does only work, when you play with the regular players. ![]() |

Steamrolling a bad team isn't fun either. It's near impossible to get a proper game of ctf on that map. |
