Post subject:  Tired of the information thingie at start of the map?
You know, the one telling you to attack or defend.
The one at Gold Rush stays on screen for ages, and I find it veeery annoying.

However, there's a way to get rid of it!
Code:
Go to your TF2 folder.

{hard drive}:\{folders}\Steam\SteamApps\{your account}\team fortress 2\tf\media

Open the file "viewed.res" with something like Notepad.
You'll find a list of maps you played on, and numbers under their name.
Set every number to 50 or higher.

Though I agree this might be useful, I think it's easier to just set

This will disable all of those annoying messages.

And what about the view of the cart, where it is, at goldrush.
Sometimes its there sometimes its not.
Could it be, that setting this goldrush thing setting over 50, removed this view?

No. That thingy is vanishing now and then without any pattern. I haven't set this "over 50" thing and it's also disappearing. Imho it's just a bug. :/
