Hey, I'm from the clan [FOG] and we have a game scheduled on the http://tf2-baltic.lv tourney, you can see it in this image: link

The rules say, that we can play it in the default date, or play it in a time of a week, so, we can't make it on 17.05, so can we reschedule? Our time could be Thursday, the 15.05 at 19:00 (GMT+2). Do you agree?

Just to let everyone know, SpA team one won the first match, on what turned out to be a very laggy server.

I sat out in the game, but was on TS the whole time. Apparently, lag was bad, but somehow mopp managed to remain able to snipe quite good :D Also, the opponents didn't seem to have understood the rules, as they broke them on numerous occasions.

After the first round, with a clear SpA victory, the other team started leaving. The final member to leave wrote "noobs" in chat, and we are unclear whether it was pointed to the rest of his team, or us :P

Admin told us to capture all points, and we would move on to the next round!

That was weirdest match that i've ever played...

Everyone was moving like a slide show, and i got the best ping of our team. Noxious prolly made a new ping record of all time... 400

U can do better than that Nox

hehe. The game was totally unplayable. No less than 200ping all the time. The enemies positions refreshed every 2 seconds. I was firing rockets by predicting where they should be...
On the other hand with my old pc I was playing with 9fps sometimes so I had some experience  But this one was 10 time worse...

Here is the final score. I am last

I can make a video of the war so everyone can laugh at the lag if you want 8)

you guys should talk to some guys of the tournement, that you offer a server for the matches. Cause this is just insane.

Haha, I just watched the demo, and it's like watching a slideshow.
It's really bad!

We need a demo section where we can upload stuff :O

Actually, the more I look at it, the more it seems like it's not a dedicated server, and we freeze up very often right after the admin says something in console.
Someone running a "server" on his own pc while he's doing other things? p

Don't know if a dedicated channel is possible, but that's not a bad idea. It could certainly gain some additional interest in the community

You can zip/rar your demo's, and mail them to saintk@specialattack.net, i'll make sure they'll be attached to the forums so you can download them easy.

Ahm, can anyone point in the right direction when it comes to demos?
I have no idea what to do, and can't really find any good tutorials.

I've used the demoui command, and the startmovie <name> avi command, but the movie file gets really, really choppy and the sound is just as bad.

Make a thingie where you can upload your own demos through the forum interface! :p
