Well, I suppose Im the Freelancer dude here as I got SaintK in touch with Ripperman on Frostworks for this Freelancer hosting. Its indeed a nice game. I used to play it when my left hand was broken. You said its an easy game, well normal campaign is quite easy, but outcast and corsair missions are quite hard, and there is allways PvP. Really fun game, Im in if you start playing this one. ( Where is my Eagle or Sabre when I need it )

AgnI, check the mod, you will have far nicer ships to play with
