I have two questions...

1) Is the time you can spend as a spectator limited?
2) Do you earn SpA points as a spectator?

I'm not sure how often it happens on the [Spa] servers, but in some games you can see that there are several spectators just sitting there filling up valuable slots. And as we have the wonderful system with SpA points on the SpA servers, we sure don't want to see spectators filling up slots just to earn points, do we?

1) no, normally you should get kicked by the TF2 engine.... BUT (there it comes! ) there is a bug in it (d'uh). The engine doens't detect someone as being spec to long when this user was in the server already, and it did a map change.
2) No, you only earn points for the time your activly playing (HlstatsX does the filtering for this already by default (we draw some info from that db to calculate the spapoints). The points being rewarded for being a player with less then 12 people on your team (sourcemod 'function') does also detect someone being spec or not.
