Hey everyone,

Been a huge fan of SpecialAttack's servers for months now and its always been my number 1 choice for TF2 servers.

I would love to join a nice, friendly community such as SpA.

Name: Edd
Age: 23
Location: Dorset, England
Occupation: IT Manager

Favourite Class: This is a tough one. Most of the time I choose a class that would best suit the team at that given time. I'm quite open to most classes. In terms of classes which I have mastered are Spy, Heavy, Pyro and Engineer. However, I'm always dabbling with other classes all the time. I find that you can gain a lot of experience by understanding each class.

Favourite Map: Dustbowl or Gravel Pit

Other Interests: Music, Drums, Computing Hardware, Cars

Dislikes: Players who play as individuals and not as a team. Also players who are too stubborn to change classes when there is an obvious need for other classes, such as Medics etc.

Finally, why do I want to join [SpA]?

I would love to join because I reckon I can contribute very well to the team and the server. I spend a good amount of time playing TF2 and on the SpA servers especially. I always enjoy being part of a group and/or community when it comes to gaming.

Hopefully some of you here might recognise my name from the SpA servers. :)

PS: I hope Dr. Brinkmann doesn't mind me borrowing the layout/template of his application. I thought it was rather well suited :)

Just a quick question regarding the selection of new members...

Is there a certain criteria to succeed?

Who actually decides to recruit new members?

Do many people get rejected?

I'm not being pushy hehe, just curious about the process :)

The only real criteria is to stick around on the forums, IRC, mumble and the servers. But don't worry you don't have to be on too much.

The SpA members decide, but the management gets the final decsision.

We don't really reject anyone, as long as you're active (and don't mock Saint for being stoned on Mumble like I do) you will get in eventually.

Bribes always work. Sleeping with a clan member, preferably a high-ranking one, seemed to have worked in some cases. You can always try harassing people on Mumble as well...

Oh, sorry, maybe not clear to some people.

IT = Information Technology/Computer etc.

Well, I don't sell anything :)

I work for a transport and telecomms company. I serve my fellow employees and the business as a whole. I don't really deal with customers (lucky for me!!)

Pfff - behold the wonders of Google. :-P

I knew Finland had some "monster" band so I just searched for Finnish, band, monster and that's what came up on the first page of the image results - check it for yourself. ^^
