Post subject:  Who's the best Scout?
Hi guys.

Basically I'm looking for somebody who is truly capable as the Scout. I made a video a while ago that focused on his particular abilites but it didn't quite turn out the way I had hoped, mainly cause I can't play the Class for shit.

So I want to do it again, this time with somebody with some genuine skill. So if you're interested and wouldn't mind playing for a good few maps then please make yourself known. I'll record your play and hopefully turn it into a vid worth watching. Mainly cause I have hardware in my computer to up the ante somewhat and I hope I can make something worth watching.

I'm upto the challenge, but I'm having a problem with my source games at the moment so I don't know how long it's going to take to fix, I have sent an email to Steam, should be getting a reply shortly.

I might be able to help out, but not before somewhere around the 1 of august. As mentioned before Noxius is a good scout and cookey ofc if he would be able to join. For a strictly demonstrational point of view I think I could recomend Magisk as an aspirant. Haven't watched him that much but what I've seen he plays the class beautifully, very balanced offensive/defensive wise. So if you plan to record in a more crowded setting (10v10 or more) he might be your man. I can assure you, Im not your best bet in those settings.

Isn't it the same for all of us? I mean - if I'm NOT playing Scout then it's only because I want to make the game fair for the other team - you know how much I hate unbalanced rounds. In fact, when I choose Scout I have to give myself some handicap by turning off the monitor and playing with my feet. :-P

you better make this vid quick, i've been playing scout recently and i kinda like the class although i completely suck @ it.. i can deffo use the pointers xD

I think a good idea is to record our clan matches with sourve tv. We have 2 scouts and the gameplay is much better than in publics 8)

That wouldn't really work imho.... Personally my least favorite match up when I'm playing scout is scout vs scout battles. Its just whoever manages to hit wack the other with a blast first. It always tends to go rather random, well experienced scouts vs experienced scouts anyhow.

And I think i'm a pretty good scout, as people who have played on our servers for the last couple of days can probably testify... Yet I have no thirst for glory in a video or something. I just like to play whatever I like most at that point in time :)

I'm not looking to glorify anybody, I just want to make a dynamic, fast paced movie featuring the boinking one.

Of course you'll be credited, but it's not going to say "All Hail Crovax, the Masterful Scout Practioner That Does Topple All Who Would Come Up Against His Glorious Might'

Although... I suspect you might kinda like that non? :wink:

never liked guides.. some visuel aid was always more helpfull for me.. but i'll check it out :P
