Well for starters I should maybe give you guys a history why i bought a new computer. Sure, It was about to get upgradet after 2-3 years... but that's only a small problem. You see.. Once upon a time... my computer felt great! and we had fun and gamed along on SpA servers. And one night, i found out i need a smoke after Torching some blu's realy seduced me. So i grabben my Tobacco and rolled myself a nice smoke (Dunno what ya say it in english,... >.<) and went out on the same spot I used to smoke, leaning against a FENCE! minutes went and i just watched the peacefull starlight skies, then my smoke came to an end. I went in and threw off my shoes, Gently hanged up my Coat... and went in to my room. Something was wrong, the lights were off, I cant remember turning it off, so i just hit the light, and sat down on my not realy comfortable "chair". screen was off... the mouse not shining, keyboard not "blinking". I tried to Start it up again, no life... I went home to my dad (a more-than-novice computer user, much to learn from him ^^) tried to sort things out but after many hours of research... The motherboard died, so I found this as an opportunity to Upgrade my comp. |

Well sounds easy enough... but.. can you find the BIG problem? (It's quite ironicly tbh...) |

Have you checked if your mainboard supports your CPU from scratch or if you need to update your BIOS? |

Hmm I would go with the BIOS updates - just remember to clear your CMOS after the update. In relation to the 9800GTX - its pretty much the same as the old 8800GT. The 8800GTS 512MB has more Stream Processors than the 8800GT and 9800GTX. |
