Oh, I didn't even listen to the song. Just read pendulum and replied to that. This song is great, prolly one of the best I've heard from them. But my statement still stands, pendulum over all, never really liked em.

I'm kind of against most dance/trance/DnB/techno.
I just don't find it as music, more noise. Besides, making music on computers is cheating imho.

I have many friends that make music with computers that are also trained musicians, some clasically some self taught, and this is one weird and fucked up opinion that many people seem to have.

Yeah that's an old debate, you can sometimes see it discussed on every kind of art forum, may it be music or graphic art. Sometimes a watercolor artist shows up and claims that using a computer is cheating, and that digital artists aren't, de facto, artists at all.
These are just different tools with different possibilities. You need the exact same basic knowledge to make art, no matter what the tool you use may be. A gouache artist could say that using acrylics is cheating, because it dries faster, and then an oil painting artist will pop out and say the same thing about the gouache guy. There's no end to that debate if you start it.
But as I said, if you want to make a good piece of art, you need the same basic knowledge. You just don't buy a music program, start it and enter a code that creates an awesome hit. You need knowledge, technnique, and talent, the same kind you need when you grab a guitar or a violin. You just use them differently, in my opinion.

Now i could post a really really long lim-dul-style post that just is much more boring than his (excellent, i most say), which no one wants to read.

I do agree with you, some electronical music-makers are good and skilled. However, here in the south of Denmark in a typical state-school filled with ignorrant lightergas-sniffing, drugs taking (and selling), CSS playing etc. 13 year old kidd0ez the (very most) electronical music is just pure crap. I guess that has given me a wrong opinion.

Don't see me as a total "This is DnB? ALL DnB IS CRAP WHINE WHINE WHINE", i do listen to songs first. And i do accept that all people have different taste.

Why i said it was cheating is, that it get to much attention theese days, as it is just as good as classical, indie rock etc. and when people natureally like this kind of music, they are scared because they don't want to be an outsider. And this have started an evil circle.
plus, those rich MTV bastards which have those excellent producers, but the stars don't really tell much about them, and teenage kidz thinks that it's the fronthead that actually have made the music. Edit <-- When on a completly wrong track there, sorry :)

Please. Just don't see me as a bad person and i will be happy :)

Ps. i do like electronical music like Björk, SMALL, Band Ane, Andy Hunter and others.

The track isn't that bad altough I'm normally not the electronic music guy (except Moby!). Something you can hear when it's late and you only want to have some sound coulisse around you.

Would they party the same without all the weed? ^^
