well i think it could be true.

medic(support class) was first. after that the pyro(attack class), and the recent heavy(defense class). so i would make sense support class is next again. and since the sniper = one of the most overpowered classes already spy would be it...

oh well, we'll see what will come next... <3

Anti-Fire suit is too overpowered, valve wouldn't totally negate a class, plus how can you sneak around in one of those?

I really hope spy is next, because he sure can use some help. The class is so reliant on luck, that it can be very frustrating to play him at times. Sometimes the luck is bad luck and you die... usually horridly. The class is just too random in how it can perform and needs some serious help, because right now when you play spy and the other team has remotely good players they'll be sure to spy check and do 360's a lot. Which makes it sort of difficult

tbh a firesuit wouldn't be that overpowered.. if it works just like the pyro suit, the spy would probably just die anyhow.

1st - Instant Cloak - maybe with reduced time due to needing more energy to power it.
2nd - Remote sapper. Disables but doesn't damage, or damages at a slower rate
3rd - Nurses Outfit - As the Spy really is a big girls blouse.

I'm so sold on the "fake spy upgrades" that were created a while ago that I really can't picture much else. Except maybe the ability to disguise yourself as a prop instead of cloaking. Like say, a box/milk can/whatever.

Some of the contents (achievement texts, sounds, models) for the Spy patch came bundled with the latest hotfix patch (8/21/2008), albeit undocumented (obviously). Using GCFScape to extract it to your TF2 installation, along with modifying the neccessary files will let you view the weapons from the class loadout selection menu.

first : Pistol that crits 100(or 90%) from in front (help at escapes after the backstab) -probably overpowered-
OR
Spy detector detects enemies within range, they show up in a mini map (cant detect cloacked spies)
second : The defector , it hacks the enemy sentry gun to attack at your enemy for 8 seconds
third : Active-poison (a radioactive poison) doesnt kill instantly, it has the same but faster rate of damage like fire, the enemy turns glowing green, health packs dont help only a nearby medic

Tweaks:

Standard knife refills your cloak for every successful backstab. For every backstab you earn 25% of your cloak. When dropping your disguise, be it through using a weapon or manually dropping it, there will be a cloud of smoke surrounding your face for 2 seconds. This cloud of smokes negates sentry detection. Improved backstab recognition. When you disguise as an enemy, you will hold that person's currently held weapon. If said person is dead, then a weapon will be chosen at random. You can now taunt when disguised and to your enemies you will be taunting as your disguised class with the held weapon.

You can now see the name of the person you are disguised as. There will be an arrow on the screen pointing in the direction of the person you are disguised as. This arrow will be similar to the intelligence location arrows. Standing still while cloaked will not drain it. Standing still, while uncloaked, will regenerate your cloak faster than when moving. The cabinets refill your cloak and dispensers refill your cloak. The Medic runs at 107% whilst the Spy will run at 105% now.


The Suppressed Pistol:

An alternative to the Revolver. Your disguise will be lost as soon as the enemy attacks you. The accuracy of this gun will be a little lower than the Revolver to compensate for the silenced advantages. There will be no damage indicator when using this gun. This gun will have a total of 21 bullets. 7 bullets per clip. 3 clips. Damage: 50-100. No critical hits.


The Double Piercer:

An alternative to the Butterfly Knife. This does not kill enemies instantly, but it pierces the target two times. The first pierce is never a critical, the second will always be a critical. The first strike is immediate and it takes one second to complete the second. If the enemy turns around before your second hit then it will deal normal damage. Your disguise will be lost as you begin the second strike. If you attack from the front the damage will be slightly higher than the standard knife. Attacking from the side will deal the same damage as the front. This knife refills your cloak but not as much as the standard knife. It refills by 10% for every successful first strike and 20% for every successful second strike. Damage: 50-80. 160 critical damage. One downside to using this knife is the noisy machine-like sound when slicing because of the motors pushing down the second blade.


Achievements:

Revolver Revolving:
Kill a total of 50 people with your Revolver.

Got Your Back:
Backstab a total of 1000 people.

Leecher:
Steal 100HP from an Engineer's Dispenser and/or from a Medic in one life.

Mega Leecher:
Steal 250HP from an Engineer's Dispenser and/or from a Medic in one life.

Not So Fast:
Backstab a total of 5 Scouts.

Doctor No:
Backstab a total of 10 Medics with an Ubercharge or Kritcharge ready, but undeployed.

The Only Spy Left Standing:
Backstab a total of 10 Spies.

Rogue Agent:
Kill a total of 10 Spies with your Revolver.

Espionage Tactics:
Have an enemy Medic Uber or Kritcharge you.

System Crashes:
Sap a total of 8 buildings in one life.

System Error:
Sap a total of 100 buildings.

Stab 'N' Sap:
Stab an enemy Engineer and immediately Sap his buildings nearby.

Sap 'N' Stab:
Sap an enemy Engineer's Dispenser and Sentry and immediately Backstab him.

Rusty Plan B:
Damage an enemy with your knife and then switch to your Revolver to kill them.

Secret Plan B:
Damage an enemy with your knife and then switch to your Suppressed Pistol to kill them.

A Silenced Serial Killer:
Kill a total of 50 people with your Suppressed Pistol.

The Man With a Plan:
On Dustbowl, capture the second Control Point, in any Stage, within 15 seconds of your teammates capturing the first.

Gentlemen:
Disguise as every single class and kill every class once.

Severing Thrust:
Kill an enemy with the Knife taunt.

Electrical Fire:
Destroy 3 enemy Engineer buildings within 5 seconds of the previous one being destroyed.

Local Murder:
Kill 3 enemies in the same general area.

Wanted: Invisible Man:
Kill a total of 1000 enemies with your Revolver and Knife.

Prosecutors Will Be Backstabbed:
Backstab 10 enemies capturing one of your Control Points.

Russian Prejudice:
Backstab a total of 50 Heavies.

German Prejudice:
Backstab a total of 25 Medics.

Double Prejudice:
Backstab a Medic and then immediately Backstab the patient.

French Bread:
Kill a Heavy in any way and pick up his sandwich to refill your health.

The normal backstab already sucks when it does the animation backstab (the one where you actually thrust the knife down in someone's back) because it only registers at the end... the amount of times my target has moved away or I rush past them because I thought it would do the quick stab are countless... so No I don't want to spend much time behind my target.

Also why wait 3+ seconds behind someone when the normal knife would kill him in 1 second max.

Other ideas I like, although I think the minimap might be overdoing it. I would like to see something like this from Valve anyhow.

I did mention improved backstab recognition.
THats more like a bug fix than a feature tbh. And lets face it I rather ditch the stabbing animation in favor of the quick slash stab, since it is much faster. Nothing sucks more than having 5 people in front of you and have your backstab fail because it has to do the downward thrust animation!

And i'm not so sure about the revolver vs silenced pistol either. The revolver does around 50 damage max at very close range and 30'ish damage at longer ranges and its not THAT accurate tbh. Sometimes it seems to be very good othertimes not.

Personally I think we might see the knife being replaced by a tazer gun which electrocutes the enemy and has your cloak recharge 100% faster when standing still. However each use of the tazer will drain the cloak by 25%. Has longer reach than other melee weapons and deals 125 damage per "tag". Can't be used if you are out of cloak juice.

Notice the / ? With the Pyro and Medic Valve have done achievements that require a 1,000,000 of something. With the Heavy it's gone down to 1000 (which is good). Now that I've gotten feedback on this, I'll know which one to delete.
