To start the discussion of i'm gonna start with a conversation between me and weirdo:

Weirdo: I didn't know if you use the 12/24 notation in the netherlands
Bucky: Of course m8, the whole world does I think
Weirdo: Hmmm, not Brittain

That just points out to the whole thing doesn't it? All those brits not wanting to comply to what the whole rest of the world is doing!
Talking about meters, kilograms, driving on the right.

Holy shit dude!

Left side of the road was the ORIGINAL side to drive on. In history it predates the right (wrong) side for driving horse and carts on.

Also, if there's anyone under my age in the UK ( <35 ) that doesn't understand metric measurements, they should seriously hang their head in shame for being American - Obviously.

Of course, I'm clever enough that I can carry the slack for the whole country being populated by imbeciles :D

Your way isn't the right way, as your stubborn ass mofos who want to differentiate yourselves from the rest of the world and epically fail in that.
We dutchies at least have the crazy ass drug laws. You can even openly smoke a J next to a copper and not even get spoken to about it, you can't try the same with booze though. I don't even see that happening in Portugal where they sort of legalized weed.
