I used to play Doomsday alot! I ruled as Germany. I sucked as France

would you be up for a game some time later Spike? I got a couple of friends playing it.. and we're still looking for new players to our community  I usually play Japan, or china just for the lols of it.. germany is way too easy to play.. the great thing about Doomsday is that you can make unholy alliances, me and one of my friends did a poland-France alliance and beat the shit out of germany... regretfully russia wanted poland as well.. and poland doesn't have the highest amount of manpower so I got my ass whooped! but it was fun anyhow |

I don't know if I am up for a game.... It's been ages, and I always neglect naval and air combat and go straight for advanced troops and missiles

I basically played both the games in the series, and all the expansionpacks.. I'm a huge fan of HOI and very eager to try out number 3 which is being released next year. and yes.. i do have the same problem as you.. I tend to neglect air and naval... although I've found air cover to be extremely usefull for destroying the troops, and keeping organization low on enemy troops... we could try it out when i get back if you're up for it.. if not then fuck it I'm not forcing you

I would love to try out a game with 6+ players, divided into two teams  I still remember first time I played it. "Which nation to be? Hmmmm.... DENMARK!" "Wtf!! I only got one army divison!?" "Let me declare war on stupid Ned flan..... Norway" **As a Isolationist AND a democracy, you cannot declare war on Norway** "Okay then. Ill make 10k army divisons, and hold off Germany when they attack" **Your country has been annexed to Germany** |

did the same thing... haha... and totally in the same thinking too.. I ended up trying finland, and invading sweden which was pretty fun.. untill the ruskies came... newer patches makes you able to make war on anyone you want.. but at a cost

I played HOI2 alot a few years ago. it's a really good game. dunno how it would work out as a multiplayer game, since the rounds takes quite some time, but it sounds like fun. too bad i have no internet connection at home...

it works fine as a multiplayer game... but of course.. the more players the more "pauses" in the game we have to take, due to people having to eat, sleep, and go to work... I haven't experienced any problems with save games yet
