Yesterday evening i had about 1 lag per 20-25 minutes, so its better than before ( 1 lag every 5 minute ). Of course lag occures every time im about to backstab someone, so as a result im standing without disguise between enemies and die in great pain. |

Hi, can you give an indication what time this was, and on what server? Also, is your lag continuesly, or is it sometimes good hours in a row? |

You might want to run an MTR trace and see if any packetloss shows up there. Cheers, |

You have packetloss issue's which occure in your ISP's network. Mail your ISP this traceroute and tell them to fix the problem. The packetloss is what is causing your lag. Cheers, |

Not exactly, packet losses begins here 85.17.100.210, which seems is somewhere in servers isp area. I haven't got any lags in servers outside Poland other than Spa. |

Thats not correct. Your packetloss starts at r-1-br-GE100-war.warszawa.dialog.net.pl with 4%, this is were the problem is. The hostname gives away that its your own providers router. The hop which we see on the traceroute is probbarly a boarder router to an interconnect network which then routes the traffic from poland to the german network of Leaseweb, which is our host here in the Netherlands. Most likely the boarder router has to deal with too much traffic overloading either its CPU or bandwidth capacity. |

But i will have % loss on every outgoing connection, its Poland and its normal ( far better than few years ago, when 25% was normal ) and not every server is lagging :< |

Well, it is what you define as normal. At our networks, at least in western europe, there is an allowance of 0% packetloss. Anything above this indicates problems, and requires fixing. Your ISP is probarly being cheap and not wanting to invest in either better equipment, or more bandwidth. Apperantly they have sorted there own internal networks propperly, as they show no packetloss. Anyhow, as packetloss starts at that hop, it will get only worse behind it. Why? Because each lost packet, requires re-sending. When a packet is being resend, it can get lost again, which will make it resend again. This is in a TCP envoirment with error checking. UDP traffic won't be resend (unless 2 devices are configured with permanent error checking between them), the data will simply get lost. This is what you notice ingame as freeze's and lag, as packets send by the server are not always arriving at your side.(game traffic is UDP) |

I had 4 Isp's in few years now and this is by far the best, and its still has some minor issues unfortunately.

Perhaps their not aware of the problem because no one reports it. Its also well possible something could be configured incorrectly. Just see what their response is. |

On that trace the problem seems to occure between your ISP and Leasewebs network. Can you run another trace for like 15 minutes? |

Saint - I think it might be ze Germanz again or some kind of "international routing problem". Remember the issue I reported a week or two ago? |

Yes, but this happends on the link poland-germany, which means his ISP should be able to fix it,maybe in conjunction with the other side, Leaseweb in this case. |
