Hey guys,

I dunno if any of you have seen this, but theres this spy achievments image going around showing the new stuff you get.

I guess it's fake, but the new features do look awesome if it is indeed real

The magnetic sapper would be a good one:
It makes the spy more of a team player in stead of a loner.

I'm hoping the new set of achievments come out before Christmas, although if not I reckon it will probs be maybe around New Year time, as they always do a free TF2 weekend around then.

Silenced revolver would be nice, of course without those crits from behind. And garotte looks great ( hitman rulez ) but it would require much work on game itself ( imagine strangling engineer while his sentry is unaware of the fact

yeah the spy one if fairly old I think.. the same guy also made the soldier one just this week I don't have that link anymore but yeah he makes fakes ^^

of course it's a fake, but it is really well made. this picture is quite old and i think i read somewhere that even some of the valve employes thought it could be real. he has some good ideas in it and i wouldn't be surprised if one of those weapons really would make it into the patch.

no man.. I mean, that pistol is uttercrap, the pistol in my oppinion is a secondary weapon used for escape, or eventually picking off people from afar, I don't think it could replace the other pistol we already got the garrot? would it "stun" the people you're strangling? would it show any signs to other teammates that you're strangling him? or would you just see two guys having anal sex, where one of them clearly isn't enjoying it? the magnetic sapper... although a good idea, and I see a lot of uses for it. it requires a certain amount of co-ordination that I'm guessing seldom will happen, and therefor no one will use it.. (the spy wouldn't get points for destructions either) BUT he has a point about the spy should be able to refuel his cloak by going to the medicincabine.. the dispenser I'm not so sure about, but it would be cool xD

those ideas seems far fetched.. especially the soldier ones.... slow down the soldier even more?.... he's going to be a sentry soon... only worse....people would have to push him around to make him move

Lol! Mint, yeah I don't see how they could do that one, ofcourse they could never speed him up either as imagine how overpowered he'll be. I dunno if you guys agree, but I think that you know when you taunt the demoman when he drinks? do you think that could restore health when it comes to his achievments? I personally hope not, because then their be uber hard to kill lol

I actually think the spy update will change the way it plays, at the moment the knife is horrendous, it's too slow to contact and picky, you click, guy strafes to the right you miss. I have conducted more "scientific" studies on the subject of facestabs and melee hit detection and even if this video is a hoax facestabs are quite easy to pull of because of the way the (broken) system works...

It doesn't always happen but I do get facestabbed quite often when trying to ubersaw a spy.
