- The Engineer's teleporters can now be upgraded to level three. It will recharge faster the higher level it is
- The Engineer's dispensers can now be upgraded to level three. It will give out metal and heal faster as it is upgraded
- Spies will be able to recharge their cloaking ability by picking up ammo off of the ground or from health cabinets
- Some changes to the second part of the first stage of Goldrush to give the attackers more of an advantage
- Any weapons that fire bullets (shotguns, sniper's machine gun, heavy's minigun, etc.) can now break apart the Demoman's stickybombs
- The icon on the HUD for a person calling for Medic will now give more information to the medic (if the target is low on health, on fire, etc.)
- Added an achievement tracker that will allow people to choose specific achievements that they are trying to get
- There is now a custom icon for death messages when the player was killed from a critical hit
- Added a new particle effect for when a player enters the water
- Added smoke to the feet of a rocket jumping soldier
- Players will now have some particles swirling around them so other players can see when they are overhealed

This was actually asked for l4d, since some people wanted to track an achievement and not do a whole campaign where they messed up somewhere without realising.. but yeah great.. once we get more achievements xD

I wonder about the stickies though, sounds interesting~
and I'll be sure to admire the smoke when I rocketjump next time~
well.. the upgrading of the dispenser/teleports was bound to happen sooner or later

and I am still a tf2 regular.. I just only play on the warserver lately -cough- yeah.. uh.. hi?

The increased amount of HP healed by dispensers and the reduced CD of teleporters are awesome.

Wow - this is like a mini-major update. I might come back to TF2 to check out how it all works out. Especially the Engi update sounds interesting.

screw the engi updates, how large a difference can it actually make?

now.. the improved HUD and the ability to destroy stickies.. now those are changes...

and that the spy now can be cloaked for a longer time and recharge a lot faster <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

- Players will now have some particles swirling around them so other players can see when they are overhealed
Mint's comment : sure why not....

Wow, nice update.

The medic thing is really useful.
And the cloak is better, time to play the spy :D

For me, playing as Spy is a lot more fun now. The addition with picking up ammo (and may I add the same with cabinets THANK GOD) to instantly recharge the cloak was a good decision imo.

The engineer updates came as a bit of a surprise to me, but either way I found them awesome especially the upgradable TP's. The dispensers look awesome at lvl3 too. :D

Haven't tried Demoman yet but I've destroyed some stickies someone had thrown out. Kinda neat.
Haven't tried Medic yet either.

Before the patch bullets would just make them roll a bit, now they break apart when shot at.

Btw, anyone noticed that players will not always gib from explosives? I had one moment when a soldier fired a rocket point blank range into my face gibbing me but not him. Another one was a scout being killed by a demomans sticky, his corpse flew straight into the air before landing on the ground with a large thud. No gibbing though.

soldier and demoman at full health can generally survive a pointblank explosion from their own weapon

Seems like you misunderstood me. My point is that when the already injured soldier fired the rocket at me, I died and so did he. My body was blown into pieces while his didn't, he just fell to the ground but intact. First time this has happened to me.

Hmm he might have jumped while doing it, the rocket damage killed him but because it was a rocketjump he didn't explode?

Tried the some of the new stuff, except for the spy since I totally suck at that class.

The coloured medic bubbles are very useful since there's a lot of players just spamming E for the hell of it, even at full health.
The engie dispenser is also seriously awesome. heavies will have a very hard time to take out sentries unless they can somehow kill the engie. 70 metal per tick is enough to keep it up.

Happened a lot more now, non-gibbable corpses I mean. Seems like it's most noticeable with the demomans grenade launcher - been killed by it as a medic a few times and my corpse flew into the air as a whole. :|
