Somewere this weekend (anyware from now till monday morning) the servers will be unavailible for 1-60 minutes.

Leaseweb will be replacing the what they think is the faulty switch in order to fix our freeze's.

That is a issue at VALVe servers being experianced by all server opterators across all valve games.

The issue we talk about now are the lag freeze's every now and then when being ingame.

Unfortunatly the new switch has not solved our problems.

I have informed Leaseweb about this and they'll continue to look into the problem.

Stay tuned!

It will get fixed. Network issue's can be incredible hard sometimes to locate and solve.

And if Leaseweb really fails and runs out of options we can always switch to another DC. Other locations, such as Evoswitch were 9mm's server is doesn't experiance these issue's.

Cheers,

I just talked to Leaseweb again.

The problem we experiance is limited to our rack only. Nearby racks don't have this issue (connected to the same core switch).

In the weekend they replaced the rackswitch for a Cisco one, this didn't fix the issue.

Now Leaseweb will replace the fiber cables from our rackswitch to the core switch in attempt to fix the issue. Leaseweb will try to do this before xmas, but they couldn't prommise it as they don't know if they have the time tomorrow to do it. Otherwise it will be most likely in the weekend.

As the cables will get replaced, this will ofcource bring a little downtime again, so expect an outage between now and the end of next weekend somewere.

Leaseweb will inform me before they start working on it, so i should be able to report it here before they start working.
