An error which occurs again and again to me.
Seems to be a problem with the drivers.
Any ideas what to do? Otherwise I will just format everything again.

I had that one before, not sure how it happened but I screwed up with the drivers I guess..
Didn't find a fix anywhere but when I formatted it was fine again 0_o"

Thats it, pretty much.
There was something in the bottomline, if it occurs again I will write it down or screencap.

Do this as soon as you see this:

Right click my computer -> properties,
press advanced tab,
press startup and recovery -> settings,
untab automatically restart

...and then post your exact bs error what you're getting... or your windows dump file...

Then it will be so much easier to catch that error which is causing your problems...

You'll get a BSOD error message and what you're interested in are these:

You got an event log in windows. Administrative tools --> event viewer, maybe he recorded it in there. Do you happen to remember if it's one specific driver or type of drivers that he gives blue screens on? Like say drivers for your graphics card (don't get nvidia), drivers for your onboard soundcard (get a pci soundcard), etc.

No laptop.
Also I dont have this bottom line, could it be the same reason? The cpu driver?

No specific driver, I already seached through some forums, saying that its mostly one driver and you'll have to find out which one.

Sonny, what *does* the bottom line say? Thats what we're intrested in. The error code and possibly the driver file error. With this we can tell you what your problem is.

Due to more and more errors appearing, I formated c: with my old windows (because service pack 2 wont work for it, due to cracked version) and tried the one from the cd jedilard sent with the parcel, which worked the first time, but now it seems several problemy occured and it wont let me install windows anymore. I will get me either an old xp version through ebay or vista, not sure yet. But until I have new windows installed, u dont have to think about the previous problems.
I'll keep u up to date about the new ones.

Hi Sonny

In addition to my pm's

Glad to hear its working again, sometimes things just suddenly start working for no reason!

Reading your posts did you install it on top of another windows installation or did you format for a clean install? If you installed over an old windows it can cause issues.

If you keep getting driver errors you can always try going to the abit site and downloading their standard Mobo drivers - the ones I sent you are direct from Nvidia. Never had a trouble with them myself but different combinations of equipment can cause different issues.

It seems everythings working properly now, no driverproblems or anything like that. I already ordered a new XP, but we'll use that to build another computer out of my old parts.

I had the same error and after much trouble shooting on my brand new built pc, you know what the problem was?

A Belkin usb wireless adapter.

Caused by some stupid cocking cock faced cock sucking process cock that no one on the internet had heard of, something like "steamsurge" (nothing to do with valve)

Disabling that in my USB driver thingy fixed it GRRR...

Now i get a random comp restart every couple weeks unrelated i think because i dnt use that POS anymore. BSOD caused by NVGTS.sys or something like that, which i've tracked down is my SATA driver (i only have 1 SATA hardware and that's my DVD drive)

Other times me PC just restarts, no BSOD, i've stress tested my PSU and i've ran MEMtest+ and no dice, i've started logging it down though and making note of any application/system errors at the time of restart, see if i see a pattern.

The last restart was on 30th of December at 1945 >=( So random!

Hope you've fixed your problem anyway, not hijacking the thread ;)
