Aleksi Perälä. Squarepusher.Taken from the album "Hello Everything". Wisp. Love this one Venetian Snares.Absolutely amazing album. Classical music mixed with breakcore. Prefuse 73. Bit more hip-hop oriented. And last a genre I never thought I'd find anything likeable in; trance: I realize most of this ain't exactly underground stuff, so you might have heard most of it before. ...and yeah, I got a bit carried away. Coffee does that to you. |

Yeh, I was thinking about a topic like this, where people recommend one song each day to the others. Anyway, I really enjoy electronica too. Though I prefer the more vocal one. The Knife, Moby, Massive Attack (yeah, yeah they're trip-hop), Schiller and so on. My recommendation is J-E-N-O-V-A from the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack Actually, pretty much everything composed by Nobuo Uematsu for the FF series is just fabulous. Also the Age of Mythology soundtrack for it's awesome mix. |

Never heard the Knife and Schiller. Gonna check 'em out. And I agree, Nobuo Uematsu is awesome. Still nothing gives me quite the chills as various Metal Gear Solid tunes: The Morrowind theme is also beutiful. |

YES YES YESNobuo is amazing, i bought the ff7/8/9/10 piano collections from Japan a year or 2 ago ^_^. POWER METAL TIIIMMMMEEEEEE \m/ Sonata Arctica - Black Sheep Sonata Arctica - My Land not that well known, but Sonata Arctica are one of my fav bands. Check out this vid by Hammerfall, just for giggles tbh, more power metal but it's like.. old school cheesy style... some good stuff though. Hammerfall - Hearts on fire. |

I'd say that they are fairly well known, at least by metal standards.Alright, my recommendation is Ahab - Old Thunder: Ahab is a German band playing funeral doom metal, a style I don't really don't listen to that much, but this band really grabbed me. All the songs by the band are based on Moby Dick or the ocean. It's a really cool concept and they do a fantastic job of conveying the ocean and the desperate hunt by captain Ahab and his crew. That is of course on the full album, but this is my favorite song from it. If you are not familiar with funeral doom, I should point out that it's slow, very slow. It's all about creating an atmosphere, usually of despair, and the vocals consist of low growls and chants. In other words, it can be quite demanding to listen to. |

the problem with these topics is that people post like 3+ videos. I mean if it was like 5 posts per day with 1 vid each I'd might actually listen to em. |

Scorpions - Rock you like a hurricane. I'm addicted to this song . Sabaton - Ghost Division. One of my favourite bands and IMO one of their best songs (: . Quality from youtube sucks, it sounds so much more powerful on CD |

I've seen them live last November and I have to say it's impressive how the singer managed to conserve his vocals over the years/drugs/alcohol. They sound amazing live, a lot better than on the recordings. They didn't sing Alien Nation though. :'(

I agree, one recommendation per post would be best. Here's one that's a bit more accessible than my previous recommendation: Kiuas - Warrior Soul It's not going to blow your mind, but it's catchy as hell. If you like power metal you should enjoy this. |

Another great song by Sabaton called "40-1". Terrible sound quality like for me, but it's the best one I've found ;p . (and these subtitles are just Polish translation of lyrics ). |

Lost Horizon - Think Not Forever Excellent Swedish power metal (the guy who writes most of the songs is Polish though). It's a damn shame the vocalist left after the second album, he is fantastic. They are looking for a new singer, but it can't be easy to replace him. |
