Having played L4D since it came out I've decided its about time to shoot something other than zombies and so I bought Fallout 3 last week, and err, seem to be shooting things that look like Zombies. Hmm Anyway I've not really played this type of game much (did have a dabble with Oblivion) but I've decided to be one evil MF so I blew up Megaton without a passing thought within 10 minutes of getting there, I then killed the people that paid me to do it as he had a nice pair of sun glasses. So I have a lovely penthouse suite in some big tower but no furniture - so I'm thinking of killing the women who sells or that stuff and just taking it. However I'm keen to be efficient with my evil doing so wondered if there are any particularly other evil things I can do. I will then post the results. |

Ooh we have a fallout 3 thread - that sounds like just what I need. Cheers Edit - the thread appears to be a 'Fallout 3 needs a patch' topic - not actually that useful. |

Wow! Dude! Spoilers! Nah, I'm only kidding. I blew up Megaton too ![]() There are shit loads of evil stuff you can do really. I blackmailed Tenpenny extensively concerning a matter of prejudice with a Ghoul in Underworld then I whacked his sorry ass. There was no gain in doing so, that's simply how I roll. What I like about Fallout 3 is you can murder folks and it doesn't mean town Guards are going to be up in your grill all the time. Mainly cause there are none. You can really use it as a means to an end rather than a last resort. If you think taking somebody out will benefit you then eradicate them presently. It usually saves you time and effort. I think the funniest mission's you can do as an evil bastard are the slave catching missions. Find Paradise Falls, it's about halfway across the map at the top. It looks like a Mall. The dude sends you off to catch specific slaves and it's glorious just how much of an evil bastard you can be with one of them. She pays through the nose when you help her then you enslave her and tell her if she doesn't run to Paradise Falls her head will explode. Battle Royale style explosive collars you see. |

Being a good guy is all fine and well but it's not lucrative at all. When you're a first class prick the cash just pours in. Not that it's entirely necessary since what you need, you just take, but still. It's nice to have some moola in your back pocket. |

I've done both good and bad (the bad one isn't finished, i got bored) and it's pretty similar in terms of money and equipment, although to get some of the unique weapons/armour it's easier to be evil. The slave mission is awesome as moist said, the mesmeriser or w/e its called is very fun to use outside of that mission as well ![]() |

Haha... there was a reader's letter in the current (?) Gamestart where a player complained about the issue that he has to kill zombies in almost every game around... independent of the genre: Shooter, Action, RPG, ... |

Re first para. I was met by some do-gooders last night that had a warrant for my capture because apparently I've been doing some questionnable acts (like they can prove it ptff). Any way a few vats to the head persuaded them to give up breathing - looks like there is some form of law.I think the funniest mission's you can do as an evil bastard are the slave catching missions. Paradise Falls is next on my list, maybe a short vacation is called for. Being evil is quite exhausting. |

Nah mate, they're bounty hunters. I can't swing my dick in the Wasteland without hitting bounty hunters. Not that it's a problem. |

I just sneak up onto people and blow their brains out. Then take their stuff, nobody sees me coming, nobody sees me going. |
