Look there: http://www.bgamer.pt/cdkey.ud121?oid=5956775 . It's pretty hard to get into the site, but it's probably legal and of course free ;D . More info: http://savygamer.co.uk/2009/01/this-may ... legal.html EDIT: My friend just received the key and it doesn't work for him, so it can be bullshit. I will test my key now. EDIT2: My key works :DDDDDDDDDDD . Now I have Dark Messiah Singleplayer and Multiplayer on my Steam! Oh yeah. |

I've been refreshing that site since this morning. I just can get through all the steps. If anyone can get me a key I would be grateful. ![]() |

Jump to the: http://www.bgamer.pt/account.ud121?trig ... 7%A7%A7%A7 <- it's registration form, so it will take a bit faster for you to get a key. I refreshed site for about an hour and finally I have a key ;D . |

I finally get through all the steps, but when I try to click the cd-key I get a Maintenance page. ![]() |

Manutencao, obviously. It says on the second link that the email isn't validated, and that you are able to get multiple keys. I'd be happy to get one PM:ed if any of you guys happens to surf it when - or if - it's back up. |

Apparently the deal is now over - tried fruitlessly to register a account. Dammit. >< |

No worries, you didn't miss much - contrary to previous posters I think that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is a bit crappy. Of course if you can get it for free then there's no real criticism that could withstand the price point. =) However, if you're pondering actually buying it, keep in mind that: - The controls are very clunky if you want to frequently switch between spells and weapons. - The kick and "physical traps" were widely advertised features but the former turned out to be absolutely overpowered with enemies falling as if you kicked their spines out and the latter gets old pretty quickly. - The story is absolutely moronic and so badly written that it would probably qualify only for some porn film. ;-) - The game becomes quite repetitive after a while - even by first person shooter (which it basically is) standards. Well - I still had fun playing it, mainly because the kick created some very funny moments - in a "so bad that it's good" kind of way. ;-) All in all the score would oscillate around the 7/10 mark (with a small minus) and I think this is what I gave it when I reviewed it although it was quite a while ago. ^^ Update: Ha, ha - I found this 1UP.com reference on Wikipedia - "The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot Deathboot in the Land of the Conspicuously Placed Spike Racks". That pretty much sums it up although I think that the 4/10 score they gave the game is a bit harsh (and yet again perhaps not, because the game was immensely buggy when it first came out). |

If the kick destroys the gameplay why not just play without it? ![]() |

Because without the kick the game gets even more boring and uninspired? ;-) It's a no-win situation with the kick. :-P |

You can easily not abuse the kick system ^^ You just have to be able to control your desire to make every game into an 'easy mode' game (Demoman on public games of TF2 for example). Spells are hilarious if you go for a caster character, making people slide along the floor off ledges and into spike trap ![]() |
