Post subject:  Client setting for proper drawing of the medic cape

Hei guise!

As you propably know the highest graphic settings ingame aren't the highest settings the engine can display. Before i will ask about my specific issue here are the commands for the autoexec.cfg
Code:
r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1
cl_threaded_bone_setup 1
cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1
mat_picmip -10
mp_usehwmmodels 1
mp_usehwmvcds 1
mat_parallaxmap 1
r_lod 0
cl_detaildist 2400
cl_detailfade 1000
cl_ragdoll_fade_time 120
mp_decals 4096
r_propsmaxdist 2500
cl_phys_props_max 1200
r_decal_cullsize 0
r_propsmaxdist 5000
cl_ragdoll_collide 1
My PC is PIMP but not pimp enough to use all those settings at 1080p, 8xaa and 16xaf. But to be honest the only thing which REALLY disturbs me in the high settings are the way the medic coat is being drawed. Imagine a dead medic laying on the ground and you see him from a far distance. His cloak looks firmed and is sticking out at almost 45° from the dead mans legs.
Now you walk closer and BAEM at a sudden distance the cloak is not sticking out anymore and is fitting close to his legs.

Well now...whats the client setting that the cloak is being drawned properly no matter what the distance is? I guess its part of the r_lod system but I do not want to turn lod off at all.

Is anyone here who can help little bird is the word?

Best wishes,
Vogeltje

r_lod 0 indeed fixed it but it drops my fps from 60 (vsynced) to 40. Thats a too heavy impact for just a coat :(
