Concidering buying one of them Razer keyboards only because they look so fucking cool.
But is it just a waste of money? How are they better than regular keyboards?

Oh yes the g15 is very fine.

Those make your E-Penis atleast 2 inches longer. That's how they are better for 95% of the people who buy those things.

looks almost the same as what i have, only i have the razer exactmat. But to be honest, the mouse and mousemat are important, but I bet you my G15 wouldn't give anyone that doesn't use the g keys different results than my el cheapo logitech keyboard for 7,50 euros.

For FPP shooters its waste of money, cheaper keyboard are as ergonomic and comfortable as G15 imho :)

Something interesting I came across the other day;

"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"

Try typing that (or any other pangram) while pressing both left and right shift. Apparently results will vary, and if your keyboard is not so sucky, you will be able to type the entire sentence.

Using a default Acer keyboard, "HE QUIK BROWN FO JUPS OER HE LA DOG"

other than a sort of strange sexiness that glowing keyboards have (umm...) my g11 is just like any other keyboard, except the keys don't suck and it passes the test m3n posted - that's to say, I don't use the 'g' keys either, nor the mute button or the usb ports (they're 1.0)

but the keys have excellent feedback, but if you don't like 'deep' keys then go for the saitek eclipse II/III, which I believe is equally awesome

I've been using a G15 since it first came out, but I recently switched to the Illuminated Keyboard. It looks so much better than the G15, is way better to type on, doesn't make so much noise and is a lot smaller.

Youre all nerds, only thing that matters is a decent mouse imho :4
Standard 10€ Keyboard is totally fine as long as it registers all buttons pressed simultaneously.

Well my upgrade from a crappy broken mouse to a G9 certainly helped me :o

I've got a G15 too :D

Love it, the LCD display is interesting, but doesn't usually show stuff i can't just see on the screen.

I use it a lot for the date and time, very useful.

Yep, all I used it for was a giant clock, since that is the only information that I'm missing when I'm in some fullscreen app. Everything else I got on my screen, so I don't need it on the keyboard.

I actually ordered a memory stick from amazon.co.uk, took 1.5 months to not come, luckily amazon is very good on refunds :)
