Show where you stand -> http://www.politicalcompass.org/test Here's my result: http://www.politicalcompass.org/faceboo ... &soc=-4.10 Generally it's ok, but i used to be more right and libertarian than it's shown here. Perhaps with aging, i become more centrist.. even though, i consider myself as an anarchocapitalist or maybe a minarchist as it's more realistic for the current state of the world. I'm opposed to all that shit (called perhaps 'liberalism') that gives bigger chances for the poor, not-white or just stupid people. If justice exist, it should be equal to everyone. Also, i think that the state shouldn't interfere economy and shouldn't stay as the defender of (im)morality. Perhaps, it shouldn't even exist or at least - for the moment - cut all this stealing proceder called taxes for social insurance (or any other reason). Et cetera, blablabla. |

I believe that all who oppose the state and the will of the state, should be crushed without mercy. |

Though I have to say that is only valid for the American point of view. In European standards I myself would rather say something like this: |

There are some questions that are not capable to Europe.. but what is the reason you consider it as 'rather american' quiz?

As you can see, most Europeans would be considered liberal lefties by American standards. That's why everybody here hates Bush and loves Obama (at least in the mass media) |

I think some of you are surprised where you end up because not many people fully understand what stands for left-wing politics and what is right-wing. I don't think this is connected to the American focus of this particular test. I remember how confused my girlfriend was when I urged her to take some other political-orientation test because she had been brought up in a right-wing family but turned out to be quite far left herself... My advice would be - think for yourself and don't let others talk you into their beliefs. AND study party manifests and programs to see what you agree with because what you hear in the media is pure demagogy anyway and in reality you might not be where you imagined yourself on the "left-right" axis. I took this test some time ago and ended up right where I imagined I would be but then again I'm pretty conscious about politics - otherwise I wouldn't be a member of a political party in Poland. ^^ Hah - I'm such a lefty. ;-) However, these are only my personal opinions - for the politics of a whole country I'd stick closer to the center-left. |

Sure it is. I'm well versed in politics and how those questionairs work and it's easy to know why some questions are in there and how the answers are counted. Topics like abortion and gay marriage are complete non-issues in Europe, nobody even cares. In America however those are the prime example of liberal left wing topics. Seeing as a lot of questions are about those topics, it's clear that the results are not significant for European standards. |

Its pretty obvious. Like demm already said; abortion, gay marriage,... In addition to that: Quote: Military action that defies international law is sometimes justified.
Quote: The freer the market, the freer the people.
Quote: The death penalty should be an option for the most serious crimes.
Quote: Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers.
Quote: You cannot be moral without being religious.
Quote: Sex outside marriage is usually immoral.
Quote: No one can feel naturally homosexual.
Quote: These days openness about sex has gone too far.
Some more US propaganda? ![]() |
