With Junction being promoted to a community map, we now have "an opening" for another custom map to be added to our spa shop. So which map would you like to see added?

ctf_aerospace_b4 ctf_geothermal_b2 By the way - Spike will be happy to hear that tc_meridian is on the right track again with overlays (and other bugs) fixed and major redesigns of many areas. http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/78729 I'm not recommending it yet, lest Spike nitpicks about some bugs again... I'd rather see the final version - which I will because tc_meridian will be included as a community map, probably in the next class pack (Valve fixed the engine and the SDK too late for it to be considered for the Scout update). |

pl_frontier ctf_aerospace_b4 and cp_gydan will be tested tonight on one of the servers.... more maps may be added to the list within the next hour or two And no, I don't even wanna HEAR the "m"-word, Lim

There's a newer version of aerospace - b4 - I linked to it above. Yes, the map is good. =)Strange that it didn't show up in the search results, since it has an impressive rating (better than earlier beta versions). |

Redstone is too big, ctf maps are very unpopular on spa servers, so probably we want payload/cp. And frontier still suffers minor performance issues on last cap, but riding on that train is soooo awesome . And if you will test it I recommend standing in train's way And +666 for alpine style map

Isn't redstone already in our SpA points menu anyway? I think it was a while ago... However, I agree with Spike - redstone isn't a good map to put on the servers. The visual and prop quality are top notch, on par with Valve's maps, but the gameplay is quite horrible in certain situations - especially the spawn point placement that makes you walk through empty areas with absolutely nothing happening in them for like one minute before you reach the next chokepoint. P.S. If ctf maps are unpopular then maybe it's because we haven't found a good one yet - the CTF style maps designed by Valve aren't necessarily good (*cough* 2fort *cough*). |

ctf_omega_redux - was fun when I played with a few mates from another forum. Quite large though so it's better suited for more players. |

I know it's early, but I think it's a pretty good assumption to think that frontier will make it into the spashop ;oD |
