looks like you guys have been getting alot of applications lately. well, I reckon I'll throw my one into the mix
well, I'm 15 (16 in may
) and from Scotland, up in the north east sheep-shaggin-country bit of it. it's pretty empty and not very interesting, which is why I end up playing team fortress so much. other than that, I gots me a job delivering newspapers - the pay is TERRIBLE - and, obviously, I'm still at school, which I don't think is as bad as everyone says it is... until I get to geography. any other spare time I have not spent gaming is either spent at the boys brigade, a scout like thingy I'll be glad to get the hell out of next year, or tackling the masses of homework I get, or listening to music (http://www.last.fm/user/Scandreid), or at various church type stuff. oh, and I'm growing my hair long... relevant information I'm sure.in tf2, I play medic most of the time; it's both the class I enjoy most, usually, and the one I'm consistantly best at, although it should be noted that my 'best' is everyone elses 'terribad' :p. other than that, I enjoy pretty much every class, particularly demoman and engineer, which I seem to be getting better at (famous last words, eh?). the only class I DON'T play is pyro, which I have developed a passionate dislike of.
oh yeah, I'm also partial to some *cough* 'alternative' medic tactics with m3n. ubering a spy disguised as a friendly pyro and watching the other team flee in fear, only to watch them 'wtf' when there sentry gets sapped instead of burned, is pure gold. don't worry, we try to keep it to smaller, less srs bsns games, we're not complete assholes y'know :p
other games? well, I used to play warcraft a bit, but that's pretty much died out. the only game outside of the realm of consoles I've ever been properly good at online is the Battle for Middle Earth 1, so if anyone wants a match give me a poke. I'm sometimes on xbox live with gears of war (but not often and I'm still a noob :p). ooh, and guitar hero! ;D (I play on expert, epeen +1)
concerning all you SpA dudes; I've found these servers to be awesome ever since m3n introduced me to them (big kudos to him), so I've been sticking around since late-last-year-ish, and I'm glad I did cos I'm really getting to know this brilliant community. in fact, I think it's so awesome that I now force some irl dudes I know to play here; remember to tell merkland he smells! so why apply for spa instead of remaining a community hobo? well, I'm playing with you guys so much and getting on with you so well, I reckoned, why not at least give it a shot?
and FINALLY (yay for walls of text) I've recently been ordered by some of you guys to get on mumble, so you can expect to hear me spamming that as well as teamchat and the ol' chatbox in the next few days. I did have irc, but the trial ran out and I have yet to be arsed to get it again.
