This summer we will again be faced with frenetic multi-player-warring when Digital Illusions spruce to an old classic, and gives us the opportunity to download nygamla Battlefield 1943. The game contains three maps Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima and here 24 people to be in conflict with each other, as usual, on foot, by aircraft or by vehicles of different kinds. this is how I feel about the game in generalcome on EA, I've always wanted to play a battlefield, I can't be arsed to get into the BF2, why can't you just give us a proper battlefield instead of milking the genre like you've been doing since just after BF2142? |

I borrowed it for a friend for a while, but playing it on a crappy laptop using a trackpad and with a framerate of about 6fps did detract from the fun a bit :p

I kinda wish, really, that EA would just "fuck off" That'd be super cool. *is aware Westwood have nothing to do with bf franchise, but my heart is still aching  *My gf loves the sims 2 though, she'd cry i guess. |

I think they will have to start developping a fully functional brain, artificially or not, before they will top BF2 with their other battlefields versions! |

Tbh EA started milking BF after 1942. Vietnam anyone? Anyhow in my opinion BF1942 was the best out of all the battlefields. And originally it was for 24 players max as well I think. I doubt it will stop anyone from making a 32 player server for PC. The 24 max seems to be introduced because the consoles can't handle more than 24 without becoming a huge lagfest. My biggest gripe with this BF1943 is that they choose the pacific region. I much rather would have had Europe, since only Iwo Jima was sort of cool in the pacific region. |

1942 was awesome, but I like bf2 much much more. We're not talking about 32 max servers m8, we're going for the big battles, 64 max!  Fucking awesome. Those kifferstuebchen servers are the best, next to them , saxon, imkreuzfeur and gotland rule, but they all have 2 rounds per map and saint and me rather play one round per map! |

Battlefield 2142 was really bad the only thing that was good with it was that the graphics were a bit updated the rest were shit them would make a new BF3 instead
