I've been running the beta (2 i think) and RC since they appeared.
Not had a single problem, runs nice and fast, small memory footprint, nice layout. Pretty impressed overall...

However, should add that I know someone that had random IE crashes on the beta before it went RC; so I guess it's just luck as to wether it's good for you or not - I'd expect final to be pretty stable tho... :P

I had the beta version installed too, I believe ..

- But, it made CS crash sometimes, on certain maps, can't remember which ones exactly, but I think de_celtic was one of them .. Someone told me to remove IE beta, coz he had been bothered with the same problem a few days ago .. So, I did it, and i've never been having issues with it since .. Guess I wont be using IE 7 then ^^

I'm just saying you might wanna try deleting it .. Then try connecting to that particular server/map, where it crashed before and see if it helps ..

- If not, then you can surely install IE7 again :P

This is something that is haunting IE7 users since first beta releases
- if fast downloads are enabled on server sometimes an attempt to
download missing file via HTTP just crashes the game.
IE7 was released few days ago and now we are receiving increasing
number of complains about this issue. The only workaround is to
disable fast downloads but it is quite poor solution actually.
Dear Valve gurus, any plans to fix this issue?

Mozilla firefox 2.0 has been released too. Someone tried it allready?

Aye, it's exactly the same as FF1, except they've now copied the TAB style from IE7,
and added a phishing filter into it. TBH, waste of time.
Uses more memory than IE7 aswell...

Last round went to Mozilla.
MS wins this round me thinks :S
