oh boo, just as I posted in the old thread. what interests me is the 'speed' and trajectory of the arrows. if it flies alot like the average bullet, it may end up being overpowered, even if the snipes is lower on health than most classes. also, how long do you think they'll stick to wall for, if they do stick whilst still alive? |

If they stick to it while alive it will be overpowered, simple as that. |

Why do they keep thinking that stuns and snares are cool in a fps?! |

They like to think that adding more variety to the game is good, which it is, but you should change main aspects of the game which make it so good. I haven't seen anyone who is a half decent player using FaN, Boink or sandman lately, valve should look at the usage statistics and learn from their mistakes. |

Oh this will be fun if it wont turn overpowered - I guess not standind right next to wall ( to prevent from being stabbed ) will mean you will receive only damage. |

That weapon is probably going to do a little lower charged dmg per hit then the current sniper rifle but the bow/arrow only needs 1second for a full charge shot. They will probably keep the headshot at 100% to be an instant kill or near enough because the bow/arrow probably wont crit. I dont think they can make a sniper give up the distance advantage to make "players feel they have been engaged by a sniper" without making the sniper class to overpowered at close range. Will be very interesting to see what they do and what happens after a couple of weeks of the update being released. |

You people are paranoid."The Huntsman doesn't have any stun-like capability. Killing an enemy who's standing in front of a wall will result in their ragdoll being pinned to the wall. Sorry for the confusion, we're just having a bit too much fun pinning our co-worker's bodies to the walls in compromising positions. Robin. -----Original Message----- Sent: Tuesday, May 12, 2009 3:58 PM To: Robin Walker Subject: Huntsman I'm sure you will get a billion e-mails about this, but I would just like to try to clear up the whole amount of "stun" the huntsman will get. Most people say that only dead bodies will get stuck to walls, but a lot of people think that if you are close to a wall and get shot by it the Huntsman will pin you to it. If you could clear it up I'm sure a lot of people would be happy. Thanks." Further proof: http://tf2.com/ |

They must have gotten a shitload of messages if they write a blog post about it o: Quote: No, the Huntsman doesn't stun. It pins dead/dying players.

Hmm... I'm smelling the need for a new blood patch for mah German version. Pinning dead people onto walls... good that TF2 already has its age control rating. ^^ |

Cool, a new kind of payload maps, with two teams pushing their cart. Sounds like challenging fun. |

Its awesome in everythihg, but why they keep adding new environments into arena mode, and not a single new one into proper game modes ? Double payload map was kinda obvious, since we had some hints in scout update, could be loads of fun, especially if good cimmunity maps will be made |

+1 A vanilla arena would be great, not one of those with no sitting out and incresed max players.
