uncharted is easily one of the best ps3-exclusive games out there and with mp and co-op uncharted 2 will be even better, day one buy for me :4

Awesome.

I really liked the first one, except for the last few levels with the "zombies". From the looks of it enemies won't be able to absorb a full clip of bullets and only just go down which was another gripe I had with the first one. Unload half a clip and your enemies would still be standing :/. Platforming looks ace, and is what I really liked about the first one as well. I liked the indiana jones atmosphere (the game is clearly inspired by it), hopefully this will deliver (but this time without "zombies" please!)

I loved the first, up till the part where the freakshow begins. I certainly hope this game will not feature the same freakshow. I am fine with freaky stuff, but in the first game it really turned me off. I still completed the game, but the last few levels really weren't that great.

Anyhow, because I actually finished the first, I will be getting this. Its rather rare for me to finish games... I just completed this because I knew it were the last few inches towards the finishline and everything else was pretty fucking cool.

Yeah at the end the first one was really weird...still loved it though.

Yeah I'm gonna try and pick up a PS3 next month. I'll get the first Uncharted to get me up to speed on the story, then I'm gonna get this one.

Whats even better is you can pick up the first one for around £5 used, bargin. I'd recommend going at it on Hard straight away, don't mess around with the lower difficulty levels.

What's online like on the PS3? Usually I wouldn't be too bothered about it, but it is free, and I like the look of the Uncharted 2 multiplayer. Especially the way you can use the move set from the single player game.

I suppose what I'm asking is, is it smooth enough online?

I've had mostly good experience with online, although its not a mature (both in terms of the peeps playing it as well as the stability) as PC gaming. Resistence 2 and Killzone 2 are both excellent, however both Res Evil 5 and Ghostbusters were shocking.

Seems to be down to how well they write the online code - we will have to wait and see.

Online on the PS3 is great, especially when you consider the fact that it's completely free (apart from MMO games of course). There's rarely, if ever, any lag and most games are extremely smooth to play online. Resistance 1 was one of the first games I played online and I remember being positively surprised at how smooth it felt - it was almost like playing SP but with bots.

I captured some footage of the first open beta when it was live in case you want to see how it looks and feels like.

I had a sour taste in my mouth when I heard that Naughty Dog had implanted MP into the game (considering the fact that the first game was SP only), but after trying it out it was actually quite fun especially the co-op.

Yeah, I'm hell bent on buying a PS3 now.

I just watched the IGN Video Review and God damn. I thought I'd played the most enjoyable game I would play this year in Arkham Asylum but I'm fairly certain this game will trump it. It just looks absolutely astounding.

Just started the first one last night on hard, need to get it played through before the 2nd one is out. So many games to catch up on with me only getting my station when the slimline came out. Just completed dead space and call of juarez so far, still LBP, GTA IV and Resistance 2 to get through aswell...so much gaming :roll:

Gave mine away, well swapped it really for the West Wing 7 Season box set. Fucking thing kept red ringing gave up on getting it fixed.

Completed the first one, its really good but had huge holes and got repetative really quickly, as well as feeling like a Tomb Raider game that n ever happened. Also LBP is epic win, even if it is just for Stephen Fry.
