Its awesome. Nuff said. Well, maybe delete well/granary/badlands from its mapcycle so we can play the good maps more frequently^^ |

The arena servers are ok, but less slots would be great because some maps are way too small for the current player count. I'd also like no crits, a round can be won or lost by a lucky crit especially when the server isn't populated or if that lucky crit grants first blood. My other complaint would be that the arena servers seem to be frequented by less skilled players compared to the other spa servers but nothing can be done about that sadly. Don't listen to what relentless says, all arena maps are good except nucleus maybe. |

a few things that come to mind: is engineer limit 1 already in place? I can't remember. if it isn't, it would definately help out. maybe think about limiting demomen and medics aswell, although these aren't as much of a problem. watchtower is a bit rubbish imo, you might want to think about taking it off of the rotation. it still feels a bit too chaotic - perhaps limit the player size a bit? turn crits off, makes things tighter. but I'm just nitpicking here, arena is great fun and the config we have now is perfectly enjoyable. |

Nucleus is a great map, don't delete it ;D . Only thing which I would delete from Arena servers, are stats ![]() |

The stats are required for the SpA points calculations. |

marmot, stats are irrelevant and trust me when i tell you that if you guide your gameplay according to them you're only gimping yourself. The current stats system is based on KpD which is not a measure of skill in tf2. I could give you a ton of examples why that's true but I cba writing so much. I'll just say that it favoures some classes to others. So just give up on them alltogether. ![]() |

Thats not actually true. Our stats are tweaked so other actions are rewarded as well.
So just give up on them alltogether. ![]() |

I know that stats aren't showing the real skill, but that's annoying, that you are having top places in team, and your stats are going down and down ;D . |

Origionally the stats were only implemented for our administration, it just happends to have a client interface as well, so we made it as good as we could, with the primary task to collect player stats, and not to rank players.

That's awesome because I do love general stats. How many kills with a class and so on. It's just the skillrating/ranking that's fudged. Simple example, it's impossible to lose ranking points while playing medic. ![]() |

this is true and it's the only reason my ranks anywhere near as low as it is![]() one thing about the stats, would it be possible to implement a record of points:death as opposed to kills:death? because that would be more useful and representative. |

That is already currently the case. You recieve skill points for all non-kill events which gives you points on the scoreboard as well.
I'm aware of this, but what I mean is that in your stats you have your kill:death ratio displayed seperately on your stastics page. I'm asking if it would be possible to have a point:death ratio displayed in a similair manner?

Or better yet, he could play heavy and mod arrows to look like hamburgers and I'd hand the hamburgers to him on a daily basis

I wanted to play Arena mode today and don't know why, there is ability to choose a team where you wan't to be, and teams doesn't mix after 3 loses. Also, there is no queue. What's going on? Valve broke something or it's done by SpA ;p ? |

Hmf. VALVe has been throwing around again with pointless new cvar's.... This is the new way VALVe wants you to play arena mode... I've set it to old behavior now (according to VALVe's explanation). See if it works correctly again plz. |
