well, this is a long shot and I doubt that there's a way to do it as I haven't backed it up anywhere, but would it possible to retrieve my old google chrome bookmarks? a power cut earlier today must have deleted the old version (it was open at the time) and I couldn't find any trace of it left on my hard drive. so, I've had to install a new one and, of course, all of my bookmarks, saved passwords etc are gone. I know it's probably not possible as I don't have any backups, but if you've any ideas about how to get them back it would be much appreciated. |

If you didn't delete anything the old version left behind then your bookmarks should be in the folder Users/youraccount/Appdata/Local/Google/Chrome/User Data/old folder if it's there At least that's the path for Vista. ^^ |

you could even run a recoverer after a format, like "get data back" |
