This is weird, I was just thinking about 'Monkey Island' today. Namely the third game, which is the best clearly.

This is good news. I hope to God it's in the style of 'The Curse of Monkey Island'

Monkey Island are the most fun and funny adventure games. The 3rd part pretty much became a cult game. That's why everybody's so hyped. xD

Only comparison I can think of would be Grim Fandango so if you lied that you'll love MI.

But yeah, Monkey Island (And I know I've said this a shit load of times before but I can't re-iterate it enough) and especially The Curse of Monkey Island, are joyous experiences.

Well... that press release isn't really clear though.
The Telltale episodes are starting today and I would really like to have them on Steam. I don't buy games not on Steam anymore. Sadly it doesn't say anything if and when those episodes will appear on Steam.
Well, at least we get the special edition on Steam, and probably a lot of other LucasArts adventure classics in the future.

There's some classics in the lucas arts back catalogue I'm hoping everythig gets released eventually. In the mean time it'll be nice to insult people in a sword fight again.

It still isn't fully cleat for me (yes im a retard i know).
There is a fully new game out of the monkey island series (splitted in 5 parts)?
And there is a remake of ONE of the old games?

So are there gonna be more remakes of the other old parts?

That depends on the commercial success of this remake. LucasArts said they're thinking about remaking all their old adventure classics, but only if it's commercially viable.

Yeah. It's weird though, I can't seem to find the option to buy just the first episode.

It's a bit dumb if you have to buy them all. What if you think the first episode is crap?
