ok, Curse Episodes is a Half-Life 2 total conversion.You explore an egyptian necropolis, kill mummies, solve mini/easy puzzles.

Maps sometimes are confusing , end up going in circles

Yep - played through it yesterday because Rock, Paper & Shotgun reported on it.

It's quite awesome and very well made for a MOD. The combat is a bit awkward (you can't switch targets and it's annoying how you get switched out of combat mode immediately after killing the last enemy in the area) but all in all I enjoyed it a lot.

You won't be running around in circles if you have good 3D orientation but the assessment of 3 hours is a bit generous. RPS reported the gameplay to last 60-90 minutes, personally I completed it in ~30 minutes and everybody with good orientation skill will do the same.

i finish it in ~30min only because i "skipped" some boss fights (he needs to mention that we must clear the level,find the buttons, go to the green chamber,then to the red chamber.)

Just been playing it now....

it looks really nice, good sounds.. gameplay is a little weak and boring, uninstalled.
