Uhm, uh, I'm not sure, it was either Anno 1602 or Age of Empires.  Edit: Or wait, was it the first Command and Conquer?

My first pc game i played was in 1988, i really had fun with it. But i really cant remember the name of it My starting games were in DOS cause we didn't have windows on the pc back then. An other game i played alot next to space quest was this one:

I was 5 years old when I got my first own PC, a 368. I got it because my father just bought a brand new PC with the best components available (468, several MBs of RAM) for about 5000€ and I got his old one. I've played a lot of those old DOS classics, so I can't really say which was "first". Of course all the adventure classics (Maniac Mansion, Zack McKracken, TOTD, Indy 3, Monkey Island 1 & 2, EcoQuest, ...) but also a lot of the action games (Wolfenstein 3D, Prince of Persia, ...) and of course the jump and runs (Commander Keen, Jill of the Jungle, Cosmo, ...) |

Hell yeah, Glug Glug!  I was 7 and was a member of the informatics club at The Children's House (name comes from the communist era, you figure it out ). We would go there once a week, for 2-3-4 hours. At first the teacher would tell us all about programming in BASIC and after we'd do some simple stuff in it we'd get the chance to play. It was on a Spectrum and we had to load the game off a cassette tape. ^_^The first computer I owned came around the same age, it was a HC2000 based on Z80 Sinclair Spectrum. The first game I played on that one was..yeah, you guessed it...DIZZY!!!  Or the epitome of every stoner's fantasy. Now I await quietly to giggle a bit when Minimoose comes back to say his was CS 1.6.

pong on tape, had to put it in a vcr kind of thing, hook it to the tele and then you could play it Stunts Prince of persia wolfenstein and some epic pinball games Those were actually the first i plaid till my fingers bleed |
