anyone got it? Just downloading it from Steam for 2.99 (have 2 free guest passes if anyone wants to try the game!) and am downloading the new "Darkest Hour" mod for it, wondering if anyone else has the game?

I bought it for like 3-ish euro way back when.. the game is ok but I never got into it o:
It has several mods with it though ^^

This game is too realistic for me. I've never played this online, only with bots and I like Mare Nostrum mod more then base game :P .

Tpyo and I both have the game and used to play it all the time, then TF2 happened :(. If you're playing drop us a line and I'm sure we'll join in for some retro fun.

Bought it on a deal way back. Too real for me, I get owned pretty hard by bots and it's a mess online.

Yesterday I played Darkest Hour with bots. Geez, there was like 19 bots, and only I were playing, because they get stuck in spawn after capping first point ._. . Still like Mare Nostrum more.

For me it's one of those games where you force yourself to play it and it grows on you, it's very difficult.

Because this game was made to be most realistic WWII game, thats why it's difficult. But, when ArmA II will be out, fans of realistic games will quickly forget about Red Orchestra :D

I have Red Orchestra and played it quite a lot a couple of years ago.

I especially liked how realistic the tank combat was. :-D

And the lack of a crosshair. ^^

I'm not kidding - I like Day of Defeat/Day of Defeat: Source but I consider Red Orchestra to be the definitive WWII mod.

P.S. To me Red Orchestra got the balance between realism and fun gameplay quite well. I absolutely HATE the Armed Assault series.
